How old do you have to be to drive in the U.S?
Aww man, I'm sorry about that, Raven. I everything works out in the end. Best of luck, we are all rooting for you to have a speedy recovery.
Generally, about sixteen.
God fucking damn. Stay strong man.
So this came out of nowhere:
GoNintendo Video Review - Ever Oasis
Ever Oasis isn't just one of the best games I've played on 3DS this year, it's one of the best games on 3DS...period. An absolutely astounding blend of multiple genres, including the resource management of Animal Crossing, the puzzles and exploration of Zelda, and the crafting/party management of top-tier RPGs. It made me a fan of gameplay mechanics I typically avoid at all costs. Ever Oasis looks, sounds, and plays the part of a AAA portable experience. A stellar achievement for a brand-new IP. This is not one to be missed.

SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
I was stateside when I was 19 or so, and you could see these kids driving huge cars...
These days I'm much older and everyone below 30 looks like they're a kid behind the wheel.
Insightfull and honest read. Even if it veers a bit too much in bemoaning their own poor fate. Basically they acknowledge the learning curve was too steep and that they were too busy finishing the game to see it then, despite people that had played it telling it to their face.
Personally I also think it was a bit too highly priced. As a €9.99 game I would have seriously considerd this. At €13.99 or something I did not. What kind of price is €13.99 anyway?
Arms: Conan O'Brien vs Will Arnett Video
Here you can learn when you are 17, but if you are on a disability allowance you can learn at 16. I personally think dual control cars are a must, but they aren't legally required which is weird.
Watching this now:
Beyond Good and Evil 2 gameplay demo video
Well, it IS a very early demo. It's to be expected that all they have in place now is stuff like physics simulation and a token environment. I find it interesting to know that the simulation tracks the atmosphere of each planet, meaning your ship could burn up if you're going too fast within the atmosphere. But lets see them turn those systems into gameplay mechanics like what Nintendo did in BotW.
I think stuff like this is the future of videogames. In x years time there will be detailed simulations available in libraries and middleware engines, allowing everyone to leverage realistic cause and consequence for emergent gameplay in their games. And once those have been perfected and are commonplace, the next stop is the Matrix.
The Steam Summer Sale is live. I've already checked it out and I'm planning on getting Shadow of Mordor, Life is Strange and Transistor, all for under €10.
Oh man, that sucks. Wishing you the best and hoping for a speedy recovery. Stay strong.
I picked up Quantum Break for $20. Banished for $4.
I felt a bit let down.
You play as an ape or create a character so not as Jade. And it's a prequel, when the first game kinda ended on a bit of a cliffhanger. It doesn't look or feel like a BGE game to me. It's more like The Fifth Element game with monkeys.
