There's only one system that overweight women in my office are excited for this holiday season and it's the NES Mini. No question to me what will be the bigger seller.
I also think Sony shot themselves in the foot by releasing the PS4 'slim'. I overheard a guy talking to someone the other day, how he had bought the new PS4, how it was so much better than the original one, with a bigger harddrive and whatnot. He was referring to the 'slim'. I wonder how he'll feel come next week when the Pro releases.
I might still just get the PS4 Slim since it is cheaper than the Pro.
I don't have $400 to spend on a console.

I'm not saying that there is no room for the slim, just that they should have released the slim and pro at the same time;
I'm still debating picking up a Slim or waiting on the Switch. At this point in life I can't really justify owning 2 consoles anymore. Really wish Nintendo was not waiting until January to announce more information, like launch titles.
Okay that would've made more sense for them to release it at the same time.
It wouldn't trick potential customers into thinking the Slim was a more powerful PS4 just to have a Pro come out two months later.

I'm getting the Slim because I have been wanting a PS4 since it came out but I'm finally able to get one.
My brother is telling me I don't need a PS4 or a Switch yet he has a PS4. Last year he told me I had to get a PS4 so I can play online with him.

Gaming stores here aren't that interesting. Maybe if the Nintendo. Store had some cool statues to pick up I might go.Don't they have a lot of exclusive stuff on display and some special merchandise? And really, how much of a detour could it be?
I visited it the first time I went to the US/NYC in July 2006. I don't remember it being anything special though I bought my first DS Lite there (back when Nintendo handhelds were region free), a couple of games and two t-shirts (one Mario and one Zelda). I saw that gameboy which survived the Gulf war which they had on display still playing Tetris.
