So, anyone interested in Zelda TP in HD?
Going by the Dolphin screens it will take a lot more than HD to tart this game up. Updated character models would help, improved textures would help. Orchestral music?
If Nintendo goes the extra mile and updates the textures I might get it. Not my favorite Zelda game by far, but it had this artstyle that would really benefit from a higher resolution. And if I don't end up playing it, I could at least display it next to my sealed limited edition Wind Waker copy.

I wonder if there's any truth to this. I really hope so. Super Mario Allstars was listed in it. I'd love to have that again.
I would most definitely pick up an HD Twilight Princess remake. It's my favourite 3D Zelda.
Not just my favourite Zelda but one of my favourite games of all time. I'd welcome an HD remake of it. But it wouldn't satiate my desire for a brand new 3D Zelda. That is still what I want the most from Nintendo (as well as several other games in beloved but neglected series). If I want to replay Twilight Princess, I can still do so. I won't go blind because of non HD graphics.
This is the generation of the remake even more so than ever before. Generally speaking I think it stifles creativity. Less resources go into making new games. New games struggle harder against more competition in the marketplace from all the remakes. Especially independent efforts from up and coming developers.

Nintendo so fucking stupid, here is a demo for Zelda and it removes single player and only allows online play for a few hours this weekend. They want you to do local play, yeah ok.
It has the best pacing of any game in the series. Puts Wind Waker to shame in that way.
