Hacked Octolings Corrupt Splatoon Saves
According to Reddit, if one was to have a hacked Octoling join an online game in Splatoon, it would corrupt or soft lock the saved game of the userreddit.com gamingeek
Do you feel that Mario Maker has been priced too high?
I was a little apprehensive but after reading everyone's impressions, I bought it. It's got a staggering amount of content, way more than your average NSMB, even if there's a ton of shit to wade through. I could spend hours creating, though I hardly do thanks to sharing it with my kid. But, yes, definitely worth the $60.

I do feel it's priced too high. That's not because I am not enjoying it or feel that it doesn't have a lot of value. Potentially it could provide us with a neverending supply of wonderful platforming levels for years to come. But that would be thanks to the work of the community. Nintendo basically packaged pre-existing assets and a nifty little level editor. I feel it could/should have been a 15 euro e-shop release. OR that they should have made a real single player campagne if they wanted to sell it as a full game (like Little Big Planet for example).
Saw the WiiU exclusive Bowser and DK skylanders this weekend in a store. My god, they're awful Really makes you appreciate the quality of amiibo's. Seriously, those Skylander versions looked like some cheap illegal knock-offs you'd find being sold on a blanket on the corner of some street.

Well, either way, I gave the missus orders to pick it up for me while she was out and about. I'll be scrutinizing all of your levels somewhere later this week. I had no interest in this whatsoever, but it's Mario, and everyone here seems to adore it. That should be enough to at least give it a try for a couple of hours. If it weren' for the WiiU's puny 32Gig limit, I would have bought it as a download. It's €10 cheaper since you don't have to buy the booklet and this strikes me like the kind of throwaway game you should have ready at hand at all times, regardless of what game is in the discdrive.
Oh that Top 100 modern day game list from Edge is certainly unique. Seeing Limbo and Journey on it made me cringe a little. It doesn't overly offend me though. Kind of makes me want to dust off the Top 100 I was working on earlier in the year.

I agree. I'd have loved for it to have been a menu item and for the disk drive to be free. I buy most games in physical form because I still enjoy having the box and disc (even though they have done away with the booklets this generation) but I have become so lazy about changing discs that it affects what I play versus what I want to play. Haven't played Mario Kart 8 in days though I have been wanting to because I'm too lazy to be changing discs.
The same thing happens to me with 3DS games. It was the reason why I stopped playing Animal Crossing. Though having three of them gives me a bit more choice than the U does.
Been getting some great scores in Splatoon turf wars, but I end up on the losing team with over 1000 points. Kinda annoying as with the win bonus I would be at 1300 points or higher and have outscored basically everyone in the match. But because my team didn't do so good....... ah.

Still sold out on Zavvi.

Not my cup of tea, but I don't think that's a terrible choice.
I haven't played it, I just never heard people talk about the game in those terms before.
Triforce Heroes looks good to me though I'm a little apprehensive. It's essentially a Zelda Four Swords Adventures game even though there's only three this time. I have been able to play any of those games the way they were meant to be played. Though this is the first one which seems a little more realistic (there must be at least another two people on here interested in playing this together (especially judging by the number of people who bought A Link Between Worlds). So I think I will be getting it.
I remember how ridiculus it seemed to expect people to get together with four GBAs and four of those (sold separately) GBA-NGC link cables in order to be able to play Four Swords (and that Final Fantasy game) on the gamecube. Oh well, at least they both seem to have appreciated massively in value if I ever wanted to sell them.

I got a physical copy yesterday, but haven't opened it yet. I'm actually seriously considering trading it in and getting it digitally. The game is only 1400MB large, and in the eShop it's €10 cheaper as well...
Foolz, how about a few quick matches of Splatoon? The planets have aligned for me to be able to waste some time.
If you're still around sure, though I'll be leaving abruptly at some point. Have we added each other on the Wii U?
Yes we have. I still have nightmares featuring your Mii, thanksalot. However, the window of opportunity has already been shut.
At least we tried.
Tony Hawk 5 releases today.

Yeah I think that Super Mario Maker is a bit too pricey but I'm still going to get it, probably this weekend.

Splatoon
It needs to drop in price.
Even with a price drop I still wouldn't get it, there's simply WAAAAAAAAAAY too many other games I'm planning on getting in the foreseeable future.
greatest "modern" game.
