I got a PS3 bundle with Last of Us and Gran Turismo 6.  Both came on boxed discs.  Only difference to retail was the "Not for sale individually" in place of the barcode.

It's a next-gen sorta thing...  I think the WiiU Wind Waker bundle was the first to do it, but I could be mistaken.  And probably am.

I think the first I noticed was with 3DS "bundles" with a pre-installed game (usually special editions).  Then WiiU bundles.  But some still come with a boxed game.  I think Mario Kart 8 for example came both in a pre-installed bundle and in a more expensive boxed game bundle.

Mario maker looks incredible! But the timer to unlock shit is so dumb. What is up with nintendo and forcing people to wait, no one likes that shit. It's stupid.

Someone explain what this timelock is about.

Oh - spend at least five minutes with creation tools a day to unlock more course elements and themes for the following day

And to that I say...are you completely retarded? They never made a fucking RE2 remake you nimrod. Go sit in the corner.

Oh, and as someone else said REMAKE STYLE, OR KILL IT WITH FIRE. And I couldn't agree more. I want a true remake in the same gameplay style of the original game, just as RE1 remake was done. I DO NOT want a 3rd-person shooter or some quasi-shooter/horror game like Revelations. I want it to be a perfection of what it was supposed to be in the first place.

I want REmake style camera and controls. I want Crimson Heads. I want expanded areas with new bosses and weapons. I want an improved zapping system. I want scarce ammo and supplies. I want a large city area to explore. I want everything that Shinji Mikami said we were going to get back in 2002 on the Gamecube.

They don't want to overwhelm people with a lot of assets at launch. You only have the assets that were used to create the original Super Mario Bros. unlocked from the start.

You spend 5 minutes a day in the editor and each day you get new assets to use to make the levels better. I guess Nintendo asked a lot of people that played games like Little Big Planet and they must have said it can be intimidating to create levels when you just have so much assets available at the start.

I know I never completed my levels because in Little Big Planet because there was so much to do and it wasn't as intuitive.

SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:

  • SMB Mix-Up! (1AB2-0000-0047-5A7D)
  • Storm the Castle (77BD-0000-00E0-A9C0)

Why doesn't Nintendo buy the rights to Turok?

Huge N64 franchise...made by a bunch of guys from Retro Studios. Nobody else is doing anything with it. They already bought stuff like Fatal Frame, so why not Turok? Especially considering it started its life on Nintendo hardware and they could use an exclusive FPS franchise.

They might be able to I think Dreamworks owns the rights to the comics since Classic Media bought multiple Gold-Key Comics properties and Dreamworks purchased Classic Media.

My Skylanders bundle came with a hard copy. Happy Also, you should be able to sell download codes.

Because it's not the '90s anymore, and Turok has tarnished the series' reputation.

That screen of DQ11 on PS4 is blowing me away. It really looks like one of those rare instances where something looks like the original art vision brought to life years later. That is like a Dragon Quest poster you had as a kid and always wished it actually looked like that.
