Maybe Microsoft can use the cloud to give Rare's 360 ports a stable framerate?

Goddamn....JET Force Gemini looks awesome on the Xbone. They didn't revamp the graphics like the HD versions of Banjo and Perfect Dark as far as I know, but the game is in full widescreen with super crisp visuals and much better controls. I mean most Wii titles aren't even in true widescreen so this blows my mind.
I really need to get heavily into this game soon. One of my all time favorite N64 games. This just reminded me why it blew me away so hard in 1999. It was one of those games that pushed the system so hard it looks like a fucking Dreamcast title. I hope there's a lot of people playing this for the first time.
Oh, I also fucked with Perfect Dark Zero a bit.....I still think this game, while obviously not as awesome as the original, is better than people give it credit for. The controls are a bit wonky but the levels and weapons and general vibe is great. Still actually looks pretty nice too, 10 years later. Fuck....10 years since the 360 launched. That is insanity right there. I even managed to get into an online match for the first time in about 8 years. lol

Found this of someone playing it in widescreen mode. You can play it in border mode too like all the older games, with a 4:3 image and art on the sides but why in the hell would you do that when you don't have to?

YES!!!! SILENT HILL IS BACK!!!
Haven't played this one in yonks, was great at the time. I miss my N64 games, I thought my machine broke so I bought another and it didn't work either. I think it's the adapter.
You chewed the chord, didn't you?
Once Nintendo turned off the N64 Cloud the games wont work anymore
Um.............

So this sucks:
So if NOE didn't pay for Xenoblade localsation it never would have been released in the States. Why can NOE localise these games and NOA can't? Disaster Day of Crisis didn't have tons of dialogue to translate and NOE did that too so NOA could have brought it over. NOE also did Fatal Frame while NOA ignored it.
I need to know who is down for the Splathour tommorrow, let me know.
If there are too few I will leave it unprotected and some of my Wii U Miiverse buds might join. If we have somewhere near 6-8 confirmed I will password protect it, so no one is left out.
Nintendo of Europe localised not just Xenoblade Chronicles, but also The Last Story and Pandora's Tower. All three were huge projects and I'm sure they cost them piles of money which is unlikely that they ever made. So all three games had the voice work done in English already and the subtitles translated to five different languages. All the work was done. Then NoA said we're not bringing those three games to the US, and that's what gave rise to what became known as Operation Rainfall. The campaign by a vocal group of fans to get those games published in the US. Nintendo of America caved in a little and said, fine we'll bring you Xenoblade Chronicles but we're not touching the other two. After some time Xseed stepped in to publish The Last Story and eventually Pandora's Tower to the US. So gamers got what they wanted (on that occasion) but what numbers did those games make? Miniscule. Small but vocal minorities on the Internet often "sound" like big angry mobs when sadly there's not a big enough number of them to make localising most of these games profitable.
I still like to think it's possible with most titles. Personally I couldn't care less if they didn't have dubbed voicework. In fact I would so much rather listen to the Japanese voice-track and read subtitles (even if the dubs have improved massively in recent years). Surely that would save a lot of work and money right?
It will suck for me personally if there comes a time when the only Japanese games we get to play are the major blockbusters. I got into gaming at an era when all the games I loved were Japanese and that has stayed true to a very large part to this day. Don't want to think about not getting to play all these great games but it is already happening. I'm thankful for the few brave companies who are still willing to take a chance on publishing these games to the west.

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
But if Nintendo Europe can do it........ surely its budget isn't that big compared to NOA? So why can NOE do it and NOA not? As you said they have to do multiple languages too. Perhaps NOA just isn't as well run as NOE if they don't have the bandwidth to deal with all these titles.
I can't imagine Xenoblade never being released in the west, it's one of my favourite Wii games. I hope Disaster is released on the eshop in America.
