Totally agree with this dude...just get past the beginning where he repeats the same thing twice.
The Shenmue 3 Kickstarter appears to have stalled.
It will be very interesting to see where this Kickstarter caps out at. I've always thought there was a limit to just how many people are willing to group fund a video game project, and I suspect we'll see where it is with this. The E3 announcement brought all of those people in at once it looks like, and now there's not many left to keep the momentum going, at least not with out expanding to other platforms.
This happens with them all....it was the same with Yooka Laylee and Bloodstained. The real diehard fanatics jump in...then its a slow trickle to the end. Kind of like the Wii U sales.
I hope everyone who impatiently wanted Arkham Knight on PC and can overlook the performance issues (I recommend messing with the .ini file) already got it, because you won't be able to buy it anymore until the devs can take care of its big problems. Link in the news.
Also, I hope that was worthy of being marked as "Big News".
If Rocksteady wasn't going to do the PC version themselves, why didn't they have the guys that made Origins do the PC port? At least they're familiar with the gameplay and engines.

Fire Emblem Fates producer details how Awakening saved the franchise from ending
Coming from producer Hitoshi Yamagami...
"Hatano-san, who was working as the head of the sales department, he said 'The Emblem series isn’t making the numbers, so this is going to be the last one.' And the members said 'This is going to be the last one, so let’s put in everything we want so we don’t have any regrets. Then we had a big list of different things, 'I want to do this' and 'I wanna do this,' and the result was Awakening.
(Sales were so high for Awakening that) Hatano-san immediately asked 'When's the next one coming out?' Of course. That's how sales works. If something sells, we start asking for the next installment."
So.....you're saying that Metroid doesn't sell well enough to bother with?
If so, doesn't Nintendo need to take the blame for shit marketing & Other M followed by Federation Force?
You could say I suppose that Metroid may be their most expensive project if done right. But hey, it costs money to make money. Its exactly the kind of software they need more of, but they ignore it because the short term profits may not be there. While in the long term, extreme damage is being done to the franchise as well as Nintendo as a brand.
Why is a 3rd party going to produce games in Metroids ilk on Nintendo hardware if Nintendo won't themselves?
And if they're so concerned about not producing things that don't sell, they need to cut production on the Wii U. Just keep producing Fire Emblem & spinoff Metroid games with Nintendo 64 tech engines on the 3ds.
Do you really need Iga to come and post the sales figures for MP3 or Other M vs DKCR?
How well did good Metroid (1 and 2) games sell compared to DK?
You mean the NES and GB games?

Nintendo Trying To Figure Out What Went Wrong With Newest Metroid
Nintendo wanted to sell a million copies of Metroid: Other M, which wasn't a bad game. They won't, not by the end of the year in America, and now they're trying to figure out why.
Donkey Kong Country Returns sales
Global Total as of 04th Apr 2015 (units): 6.35m
So yeah, Metroid sales dwindled, Other M sold a bit crappily, DKCR blew up with huge sales compared to any Metroid, Prime, or Other-Mwise. And we are where we are.
No one knows how much choice Rocksteady had in the matter. In my opinion, the blame for the state of the PC port rests mostly on WB, it being the publisher.
Metroid may not big a big seller but it is considered a " hardcore" game which is something a lot of gamers don't view Nintendo as having.
But it's no system seller to most. People who would consider Nintendo only for their 'hardcore' games wouldn't run out buying WiiU's based on a Metroid game alone. It's a game that caters ony to a minority of their fans. Their longterm fans who are now in their late 20's, early 30's. And we're no longer their target demographic. Just look at where they chose to advertise.
I will never forget the time when I bought a GBA SP for Metroid Fusion and a NGC for Metroid Prime in the space of a couple of weeks. Those were system sellers for me.

Shush you, you're undermining my argumentation.
Same here. I bought a U with hopes that Prime would come soon. It wasn't the only reason but up there near the top.
If AK is no longer sold on Steam and never goes up again, I'll end up having a rare game in the library, because most people I know of requested refunds on the turd.

I have a code for the Don't Starve: Giant Edition on the Wii U eShop.
Nintendo was having a deal through the 28th that if you purchase Don't Starve you will get a code to gift to somebody.
It is for the North American eShop.
