Early worst post of the year contender. And worst decision. And most incomprehensible.
I think it was done in an effort to give people a chance to be able to afford them all. Buying 10 Amiibos is $130. If you were to buy a full set, you'd be a fucking moron, but you'd also be spending more on figures than you would on a new console.
I am secretly hoping for some kind of Single-Player DLC in a month or two's time to keep the release momentum going. That's what I meant about keeping it relevant.
It's a false hope most likely though. I am pretty sure Sakurai is done with the game and series forever, but I'd --LOVE-- to see the Amiibos put to some good use other than a collectible memory card.
Shadow Warrior is the gift that keeps on giving. I'm close to 10 hours in and it just won't stop throwing madness at me. Such a great game.
I totally loved it for about two months. I love the way they make it feel like a great 90's FPS, but with modern twists like customizing your Wang. Sense of humor is awesome too! Love the weapons, secret areas and the pixelated anime spots from the first game thrown in the middle of a pretty nice looking, modern game!
Yeah, it's great how you can switch your gameplay on the fly without being locked into using one weapon or one playstyle throughout the game.
I have been thinking about starting this. Not sure why, mostly gut feeling than anything else. I have never played a Warriors game before
Seriously though... Tropical Freeze is a great game, even I found time and energy to play it and I hardly play any games these days.
Also ... would anybody be interested in playing Dragon's Crown PS3 with me at all?

It won;t be by design. Given the limited runs I would say the waves are as a result of using a single factory and doing a run, then re-tooling for the next run etc... I really do think they way underestimated demand. People care because A) Nintendo B) Reasonable Prices and C) Figurines are just cool in general, regardless of any augmented RFI tech they build into it.
Not for me, but then most things aren't.
I would, but times would probably be hard to set up.
Any of you partaking in the free dos games at internet archive?
I think this is fucking amazing.

Yeah, time zone difference would be a bitch, I think you are something like 10 hours ahead of me here. Could we theoretically join each other's game if we bump into each other online?

Nintendo To Use Sharp Free Form Displays For Next Handheld? (Screens Of Prototypes)
Sharp first showed off its unique Free-Form Displays last year, and the technology took on a whole other level of intrigue when it was reported that Nintendo would be the first customer — possibly for a new portable games console, or the company's mysterious sleep-tracking device. The latest prototypes are on display at CES 2015, so we thought we'd take a look for ourselves.
The displays are an evolution of Sharp's IGZO technology, and can be cut into virtually any shape. (Nintendo reportedly, inexplicably wants a doughnut-shaped display with a hole in the middle.) The gate driver circuits are embedded into the active area of the display, allowing for ultra-thin bezels and unprecedented form factors.
Sharp's prototypes are mostly showing demo loops of driving information; it's clear that one obvious application is installing displays that take advantage of any available space on unusual surfaces like a car dashboard. But what could Nintendo do with such a technology? We'll likely have to wait until next year, when the displays go into mass production.

Kameo 2 being teased?
Excellent news....let them ruin the IP that caused Nintendo to sell them instead of one of their AAA IP's from the N64 era.
The Witcher 3 PC system requirements confirmed i7 processor and GTX 770 recommended for upcoming RPG.
Oh jeez....I only have an i5 processor and a GTX 680....I guess I can't play.....pfffft.
If I can't run this game at max settings, it will be the first game that I cannot. We'll see.
I think the Witcher 3 specs are recomended but not minimum so you could still play it.
Can your PC handle it?
Minimum System Requirements:
Intel i5-2500K 3.3GHz
AMD Phenom II X4 940
GeForce GTX 660
Radeon HD 7870
RAM 6GB
64-bit Win 7/Win 8(8.1)
DX11
HDD 40 GB
Recommended System Requirements:
Intel i7 3770 3,4 GHz
AMD FX-8350 4 GHz
GeForce GTX 770
Radeon R9 290
RAM 8GB
OS 64-bit Win 7/Win 8 (8.1)
DX11
HDD 40 GB
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt launches on PS4, Xbox One and PC on May 19, 2015.
As for Kameo, there wasn't much good about it to ruin in the first place.
LOL I know it can handle it, I was being sarcastic.
These companies are starting to artificially jack up the spec requirements to get people to buy new hardware, which is hilarious when even the minimum spec is more powerful than the consoles which are running the games also. Not to mention, consoles held back the PC tech for years from being used to its potential, and yet now all the sudden you need stronger hardware when rigs like mine are already beyond the consoles? Please....its just funny. Like I said, they want you to buy new shit (even if you don't need it).
Plus, as Steel has proven, even an N64 level PC can play most games.
LOL yeah.
So do you think your PC will run it better than PS4? The RAM requirement, 6GB minimum?
Yep. The arbitrary directx 11 shit is so fucking annoying, and the minimum specs verge on straight up lies a lot of the time.
I'll check PSN for you when I'm playing Wolfenstein!
I really enjoyed Kameo myself so I'd be quite happy with a Kameo 2.
