Before trying Mii-Verse, I was engaged to be married to my High-School sweetheart! Mii-Verse made me go gay.
I was a happy family man and successful business man. Mii-verse made me lose my job, abandon my family, turn to drink and go gay.

Nope I still have a while to go. I am trying to rainbow all stars.
Before Miiverse, I was a successful vacuum cleaner salesman in Tennessee. Now I travel the country, following Grateful Dead knockoffs, Phish, as they tour, living off free Doritos in my Volkswagen Van. My clothes smell like pork, cheese and piss.
Wait... What new consoles?
...
Oh... that's right! I have a PS4! I forgot!
Played more Lego Marvel, I want to like it so much but I can't, it's soooo mundane. In Lego City you can barely move a few metres before there was something to do, climb, go into or collect. Not so here, there is no verticality to the open world at all, no discovery. And it's just not fun. A couple of the campaign bits were decent but nothing great and the jokes keep bouncing off me like bullets off Superman.
The character switching method in the open world is alarmingly difficult and fudgy. It brings up a grid of like a hundred icons but each character has variations like Iron Man already has 4 suits. Rather than letting you choose the right outfit the icon flips between all of them automatically, you have a split second to choose one. On Wii u you can get a touch screen grid of characters which helps somewhat but they put an accept pause in which slows things down.
You just described 95% of all Lego games, GG.
I got my new TV this morning. Going from a 32 inch to a 42 inch TV doesn't sound like much on paper, but in reality this TV is HUGE! It's perfect for my place; I'm glad I didn't go with the 50 inch I was considering. I just played a little ACIV and Resogun on it, both of which are native 1080p games, and the difference from 720p to 1080p is very noticable. Everything is much sharper and more detailed than before. I'll have to watch some movies on it soon.
Wow. The Wii U's upscaling capabilities sucks. I have my U resolution set to automatic. The U upscaled Super Mario 3D World from 720p to 1080p, but outputed image was quite blurry. My TV was reading the signal as 1080p, so I manually changed the U to output only 720p, and let my TV upscale the image instead. Big difference. It's still not as sharp as a native 1080p image, but it's a lot better than having the U upscale it. It's odd, because I have my PS3 set to automatic, and it only outputs the game's actual resolution, unless I tell it to output only 1080p. I assume the same will be true of the PS4 as well. Why not the U?
Because of Miiverse!
What does this even mean? In my resolution options you have to choose the resolution you want. I switch regularly each week between 720p and 1080p and it always looks better in 1080p even running 720p native games. If I were you I would just set U to the tv you're using.
