It was a good series...and the matchup I was hoping for anyway. Sucks that Patrice Bergeron (the Bruins best player, imo) was playing with a broken rib and a punctured lung.
yeah I was expecting game 7 too, the Hawks just went nuts in the last minute to take the game. It was a great fun series.2 best teams by far.

That flying frog thing sure looks pretty. Well, technologically speaking at least. It doesn't look as convincing as most Pikmin creatures do. I mean seriously, that thing couldn't possibly stay airborne, not even for the duration of that gif. Unless it just jumps.
Also, and this might be nostalgia kicking in, no matter how good Pikmin3 looks, it doesn't scream NEXT GEN. The first 2 games just looked so damn good and lifelike, 3 should have at least done away with textured grass, replacing it with real strands or whatnot to look sufficiently superior.
But how do they know what it will sell without at least trying to sell it?

This is true...the 1st two games were absolutely amazing looking, and some of the best looking games of the generation on any console. Pikmin 3 still has the look of a game that was moved from Gamecube tech, to Wii U. It almost reminds me of Pikmin 2 running on a Dolphin emulator.
This nostalgia thing is killing me.

I am so upset. Come back home from work to find nothing from the post. There are two games I ordered close to a month ago which I still haven't received. But what's making me real upset is not those two, but the fact that I haven't received Animal Crossing. This was shipped two weeks ago. Was supposed to take 4-5 days. I'm leaving in the early hours of the morning and I will be away for the best part of the summer. I was looking forward to playing it in airports, on planes, on trains, in hotel rooms etc etc. This sucks. Fuck zavvi and their cheap ass shipping practices. I'm writing them an email to let them know they've pissed off a very good customer one time too many.
