I haven't gone to a midnight launch since Red Dead Redemption. Before that, it was SSBB. I don't think I'll go to another one until the next Smash Bros. releases.

I have developed a level of excitement and affinity for Ni No Kuni, I don't think I have felt since ... probably Twilight Princess.  Over the weekend I stayed up late playing it, and when woke up and my first waking thought was to start playing again before I even put the coffee machine on.  Today I couldn't wait to get home from work so I could commence playing.  It's also one of the very few times in recent years when I'm not looking forward to reaching the end of a game so I can say I beat it and move on to something else.  Just enjoying this ride for as long as it takes.  Really enjoying this ride.

Yeah, I absolutely loved the bit of Ni No Kuni I played before my daughter stormed the living room, lifted the controller from my hands and kept going on my playthrough. Looking forward to go back to it sometime soon.
