First game was grea. Well ahead of its time in so many ways and it introduced so many things into gaming which we then took for granted. Hasn't stood the test of time so well for mt though. I think it's mainly that has too much randomness. I wouldn't call having to bomb every bit of wall to find the entrance ingenuity nor great design.

Any Zelda list without Phantom Hourglass and Link's Awakening is incomplete and invalid.
Been playing Tomb Raider 4.
Forgot how hard these old exploration based games were....I die a lot.
Just got to what was probably considered the original downfall of Tomb Raider; A car chase scene a la James fucking Bond in level 3. It annoyed me so I stopped there for now.

Phantom Hourglass is on my Zelda list....dead last!!
Phantom Hourglass is the shit! --er ... no, I mean it is shit.
Lawl, you want a top five 3D Zelda list? Ok. Note that it won't have either of the DS ones on it, since I haven't played PH and I don't really care much for ST.
1. Skyward Sword
2. Majora's Mask
3. Ocarina of Time
4. Twilight Princess / Wind Waker
So, I recently beat SS, and I'm pleasantly surprised that it overtook MM for my favorite Zelda. It doesn't contain everything that caused MM to top my list for so long (mostly the emotional elements of MM related to character interaction), the controls were plenty frustrating, and Fi was annoying, but otherwise, it's a fusion of so many fun things that I can't help but love it; plus, it has a super-hard Hero Mode difficulty that is beating my tail (4-5 deaths as of reaching the third dungeon). I haven't been challenged like this in a Zelda game since playing ALttP. Unlike the other 3D console Zeldas, there's never a time when I feel like I'm doing nothing in SS -- even flying between islands in the sky is more fun than running everywhere or riding Epona -- can you dive while riding a horse? I don't think so. Not unless you want Epona to dive into a lake, and I'm not sure that would be a good thing.
I had to put OoT above TP simply because the former is a better video game, plain and simple. I've probably gone on a TP rant here before (several years ago...), but even though it's kind of an OoT 2.0, it wasn't such in all the ways it should have been -- most notably, difficulty. The dungeons were really good, though, at least the later ones.
WW is another one that lacks difficulty, and we all know it's weird about dungeons because it wasn't baking in Nintendo's oven long enough. The third pearl didn't have a dungeon for it and the stupid Triforce fetch quest was put in instead of 1-2 more dungeons at the end. I have it tied with TP because they are good for different reasons: WW was more fun for me to play, I think, while TP had a more satisfying narrative experience, I guess you could say.
If all the 3D series entries were on the list, ST would be at 5/6 (depending on how a person subjectively numbers things when there are ties), and PH would be at 6/7, the latter being for no other reason than the fact that I haven't played a lick of it and don't plan to unless I can find it really cheap -- HA (plus, it seems to be the most disliked 3D Zelda in general)!
Against my better judgement I decided to start Xenoblade.
Good god I'm only a half hour into it and its already badass. The atmosphere, the music, the complexity yet user friendliness of the menu's and gameplay....it harkens back to the very best Squaresoft RPG's and recalls memories of the golden era of JRPG's in the PS1/PS2 days. The graphics are also very nice...easily one of the better looking Wii games. I think the Wii U smoothing helps this one bigtime. The music is godly.
Adventure of Link
Majora's Mask
Four Swords Adventures
Spirit Tracks
Phantom Hourglass
I still haven't played Spirit Tracks, but Phantom Hourglass is so terrible Spirit Tracks gets a spot by default.

Would have been so much more epic had you started with "Hey, listen!"
For robio.
Playing Anarchy Reigns... well not playing it anymore. I'm done and very disappointed with it. So now I've moved onto Persona 4. Starts up really slowly compared to Persona 3, but things are starting to get good.
I've been quite frenetic with my gameplay recently, but I've settled down with Crackdown 2.
Generally, when I enjoy a game I want the sequel to just be more of the same, but Crackdown 2 takes conformity with the source material to new lengths. It's dull, and I am a third of the way through, but I will finish it. The core experience is still enjoyable enough to get me through it.
Hopefully after I finish that I'll either go back to Max Payne 3 or start Homefront. I am guessing I will go with Homefront.
If you liked Persona 3, 4 improves on it in pretty much every way conceivable! As for me:

I've been playin':
Been playing Ni No Kuni. So far no surprises. Neither pleasant, nor unpleasant. About 8 hours in I realise I'm just at the start but it seems a pretty standard fair Level-5 JRPG with Studio Ghibli animation (which is not really all that disimilar from previous Level-5 games since they always wore their Ghibli influences on their sleeve). I'm hoping this is what I need, an honest-to-goodness heartfelt game with old school values and not too much post-modern bullshit
