Is Vita cross-play feature an attempt to steal Wii U spotlight?
'Sony didn't shy away from attempting taking the wind out of Nintendo's sails. It's looking for any reason to help sell Vitas, and this functionality certainly doesn't make it any less attractive

"Finnish LOTR"?
WTF.
It's not even similar to the films, beyond it being fantasy.
Just played an hour or so of Deadlight!
SOOOO very reminiscent of Out of This World (Another World) with Zombies!
The ratings have been very mixed with this one, but, OH! the nostalgia! Little bit of Limbo, but mostly like OoTW! They say the beginning is the best part, but I got a fair way in and enjoyed it very much!
Around 2005 I had hair down to my ass...then I shaved my head & realised the joy of low maintenance. Since then I've let it grow to shoulder length a few times but that's it. Right now its really short.
I've bounced back and forth a few times. I first grew it long back in 2001 and it's been cut short and grown out a few times since then. I'm happy with it short again. Besides, I think I'm about to hit a certain age where hair as long as I had it was really reserved for white trash, rock stars or mountain men with plans to kill government officials.
So wrong.
Wow... I remember when a new Mario game would be monumentous. You could feel the excitement and electricity in the air and would even have to be concerned that someone would snatch your copy out of your hands in desperation because they weren't fortunate to get one of their own...
...
...
Now...?
Let's all have a moment of silence in rememberance of the good times now gone.

#4 (half-inch) clipper-cut for me these days. Got tired of dealing with long hair about three years ago.
I've cut my own hair since I was about 17. I go over it with a set of electric clippers and a no.1 - no.4 step-comb depending on my mood or time of year etc. I'm thinking about shaving it completely since my hair started thinning a bit. Old bastard that I am

I've considered cutting my own hair, but I am too chicken to try it.
I started 6 months ago. You can get clippers with these guides that lock on you just choose the thickness you want on the sides and you can't go wrong. I have to get someone else to cut the back for me.
The money and hassle you save is worth it. On money alone it's been insane. I also hate chit chatting to hairdressers and coming home with itchy hair on my back.
Bugs how do you cut the back of your hair.
Why? It's really easy. Besides, what's the worst that could happen (half-intentional invitation for funny pics...)? I don't even use a mirror. I just go over everything with the clippers, then do the back of the neck without a step and finally I use a pair of scissors to do the bits behind the ears and at the front which you can't get with the clippers

Maybe I should get a Flowbee.
I go over it like the rest of my head. Then I do the neck bits without the step-comb. I just try to be careful I don't do it too high but it's mostly OK, I don't worry too much. You are right about all the benefits of cutting one's own hair.
Do it as and when I want. No chatting or explaining anything. Do it without wearing a t-shirt to save getting it full of hair you'll never get out. Shower immediately to minimise the itch. Save lots of $$$

The first cut may be messy but you get better the more you do it until you have it just right. Hairdressers always cut my hair too short or just plain wrong then were cocky about how great they were. One cut my ear with scissors.
You can get some surprisingly good clipper kits for not too much. I recommend one with a good ceramic blade so that it doesn't go rusty after years of use. They're a bit more expensive but this is an investment you will very quickly write-off if you consider how much you're saving on haircuts.

Haha, I also had my ear cut once by a barber. That guy was perennially drunk and sometimes drinking brandy even while working.

Hmm, I'll look into it.
