Anarchy Reigns demo OUT NOW! On JP I think for the moment. First reaction from gaf is OVERWHELMINGLY POSITIVE. Well maybe I was dead wrong about this game.
Konami's E3 "conference" is tomorrow night?!?!?!?!??!?!?! 3am tomorrow night after the GTTV E3 special. Which means it is taped again.
Yup, greatest E3 conference of all time.
You best sleep with a knife under your pillow.
That SEGA line up is meh.
Rachet Full Force and Rachet Q Force both announced yesterday? Are those 2 separate games? Ah, same game different names. How many Rachet games have their been? Seems a lot
It looks like a crappy billboard poster for a flea market.
Now we are near E3 something has been bothering me.
Why the secrecy? In this industry why do developers and publishers feel the need to hide what games they are working on?
If you are working on a game, why not just say so instead of all this clandestine bullshit? You don't see the same thing with movies, secret hidden development that no one knows about for years or whatever. You can let people know what you are working on before having an official reveal or previews surely?
Some of the sweetest most hospitable and kind people said that to me three years ago when I was road-tripping in the Deep South and Southeast of the US. But yeah folk in backwater Texas places have a reputation that they "don't take kindly to yer kind" ... Stereotypes aside, enjoy Texas!
I bought the original edition a few days ago even though I knew this was coming out with bonus content just so I could avoid that disgraceful cover.

Mario Tennis arrived yesterday in the post ... and I already got blisters on my thumbs.
Game is pretty sweet, starts off easy but it's already got quite challenging. I expect it will be best against human opponents. Is anyone here at the VGP even considering getting it? I have three presonal friends here with 3DSs all of whom have fond memories of multiplayer Mario Tennis on the gamecube. I will try to tempt them into getting it

I can't update news right now so someone do it for me.
So people will get to play the events during emergence day?
I think I should buy at least the first couple games now that they're cheap enough. I beat the first one during a rental and tried to do the same with the second but got sidetracked.
I think the ultimate reason comes down to promotion and marketing. When movie news is released it gets mentioned all over the place; entertainment magazines, tv programs, news, newspapers, websites, etc. Games news and announcements have a much more limited number of media outlets, and therefore competition for that space is much higher. They need to have the biggest platform available to announce a game when extra eyeballs are watching (ex: E3), or they have to measure it up at a time when their announcement won't get interrupted by other big announcements
Plus you have to remember that not every project that gets started gets finished. Don,t you think Capcom would love to go back to last year and not make any mention of the now cqncelled Megaman Legends3/MMO or whatever that thing was that they pulled the plug on at a very early stage?
Well there's a couple factors:
I swear to god, if Sega attempts to fuck me over and not release Anarchy Reigns I will go all kinds of Super Saiyan Dark Robio on their ass. No internet message board will be safe!!!! Doesn't sound threatening, but it totally is.

It seems that there are far too many people hiding games and I would rather hear about cancelled games that not. E3 is just one event, there are so many other times of the year where you could announce something, this hyper active secrecy and NDAs is overkill. You get this asinine obvious hints for months then finally they announce a game you heard about weeks or months before anyway.
For we are many. Well 3 so far.
Okay this is kinda cool^
