Apple patented a similar haptic stylus last week. Must be stylus week at the US Patent office.
Welcome to the 2+ years of my life after the original Yakuza came out and Y2 had no chance of a western release.
I understand and agree with the reasons why game industry PR is done the way it is done, but it has to be the most insane PR business in the world. sometimes think of someone coming from regular PR starting at EA or Activision and getting creeped out by the audience they are serving (both the end users and the media).
PR Noob: So... we're promoting the game right? But we are only sending out one screen shot, to a single outlet that promised a cover story in the future and that'll be enough for the month?
PR Boss: Oh yeah, the printer for the magazine will take a cellphone pic of it and have it on GAF in hours. From there it will be reported on by about a million and a half outlets.
PR Noob: Shouldn't we get the name of the game out before then?
PR Boss: Hell no, we'll let that get out by registering a website through a third party that is known to register our sites for us. Or we'll set up a fake FTP site with a text file with the name on it. Or put it in the code for another game we're bringing out.
MS milking the last drops out of a console generation.
Metal Slug 3 on Wii this week!
If you don't already have a copy, this is a good way to get it. best if you play 2 player co-op.
A better value is the Metal Slug Anthology, but good luck coming across it.
Pretty good list so far. Actual REAL games on a Nintendo console again in force...kinda nice.
Vader, I was just going and reading a bunch of your recent reviews and I noticed that....well, you're actually being really tough on games lately. Not just Witcher 2.
Really, compared to two years ago, your reviews are much harsher. It seemed like you were giving EVERYTHING a 9+ score back in the day. Interesting.
(5) Hell, Count me in!
It'll come out within a year or so, but yeah I wanted to know who is getting stuck with the tab on this one.
Order Up!! gets release date, price
Okay if you own a 3DS and do not at least check out the demo, I will consider you dead to me. Seriously this game is brilliantly good! You have to at least try it out. Oh and if you decide not to buy it, I'll consider you a mindless dudebro, but I'll still acknowledge your existance. Come on, $10..... you spend more or stupider shit.
I was playing the Gravity Rush Demo today on Vita and wow what an amazing little game. After watching the video early on in Vita's brief time, I was sure I was going to skip it. But after playing the demo a few times I really like it. I pre-ordered it today from Lockerz for 30.79 best deal I could find on it. I can't wait to get in in a few weeks!
. . . heh heh. . . . . and now I've got all I need to take on the world!!!!
