Yes, there's checkpoints in the form of bonfires. Once you find one and light it up, you start from there, and you can also use your souls to level up there and fix your weapons and gear and manage your stockpile

I'm going to have to hang out with Children of Bodom in a few weeks (pick em up, drive them around, take them to soundcheck, gig, to eat, hotel etc). New podcast went up today if you missed it, number 112. We are one episode ahead of Eurogamer.net and Weekend Confirmed who are both at 111 episodes. And for the last 12 weeks we've been able to get a show out every week, mostly due to Tom "Iron Man" "Scatman" "Foolz" Towers staying power.
We've had eight different hosts/ co-hosts/ guests over the last twelve shows, from five different countries, which I think has to be unique in gaming podcasts.
I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we do making it, (but I doubt it).
Bioshock pushed back... Im happy. Too much to play this year and I think next year will be a transition year so plenty of space to put out big games.

One does have to wonder why they were pushed out from under the cover of the SCE umbrella. They said they wanted to be free to do games on other platforms, but Facebook? Facebook is what you left SCE for? No. Facebook is where washed up losers go when they no longer have the backing to do AAA titles and lack the imagination to do single A artsy stuff.
