The insurance company has declined to pay for the cats surgery. They are dicking about trying to weasel out of it on a technicality.

I really feel badly for you people who have to buy health insurance and deal with all this bullshit when you are ill.

Now I have to try and get a reassesment and escalate the complaint, take it to a financial ombusman and maybe even have to fight the vet in court over charges.

Meanwhile somehow I have to find $160 a month to pay for cancer medication, which the insurer will decline too.

Utter bullshit.

They probably forgot half the parts of that stand, the hands holding the 3DS must be separate to look 3D... Lol.

LOL that must be it. I was thinking that the body was a mannequin with no arms and some lazy bastard just photoshopped some guys head onto the armless picture.

I've been playing Mario 3DLand special worlds. I like them but I am getting tired of dark purple mario chasing me around on EVERY f******** level.

There are a couple of worlds where I am missing a 3rd gold coin where I just cannot even see them. Usually it's because there is a hidden cog to hit with the racoon tail but I can't them anyway. I'll have to check a guide. Anyway, you know what nintendo said about the 3D helping people spatially with gameplay? That's totally correct. Sometimes because of the sweet spot and the reflective screen I turn 3D off to play a particularly hard level. But then halfway through I realise that I can't judge the jumps and distance as well without 3D on.

I wonder if Nintendo would be so bold to allow movie and TV streaming services on the tablet?  Something you can watch without turning the TV or Wii U on.  Cost-wise, would that be feasable?

The feature I love the most is just being able to play console game in the same room as other people without dominating the room with videogames or having to watch bad dramas when I would rather be playing games.

Also, playing games in bed will be great without having to crane, turn and hurt my neck.

The controller streams info from the console. So you have to turn on the Wii U

Aha!

Update: Nintendo has announced the stand will be available in all territories and not just in Japan, as some expected.

"Nintendo is including a free stand with all copies of the Kid Icarus: Uprising game for the Nintendo 3DS system," reads a statement sent to 1UP. "The stand holds the Nintendo 3DS at an angle above any flat surface and provides players with a comfortable option for playing. The game's control scheme was designed to fit the game's unique blend of flight, shooting and melee combat, and offers tremendous precision. Our product testing demonstrated that players found the stand to be comfortable and enjoyable."

I can't remember if I posted these:

Within the first few minutes of playing Abobo's Big Adventure, you will do such EPIC things as:

Kill Kid Niki. Kick a Goomba. Punch Donkey Kong. Fight a mob of Kung Fu Huggies... LOL

...Fight other random Double Dragon and Renegade dudes. Eat the head of a River City Ransom kid...

...and Experience a bit of Irony involving an Explosive Red Barrel that you just have to see to believe!

GASP

AWESOME!!

They probably just use Augmented Reality to make the arms appear outside of the display in 3D. No big mystery! If you look at the display closely, it is asking you to see the world through the 3ds. That has to be it.

IGN What is Retro Studios Working On?

IGN said:

Two years is a long time for a major studio to stay quiet. Though it worked on some of the tracks for Mario Kart 7, Retro Studios has not shipped a major project since Donkey Kong Country Returns at the end of 2010. Since then, the company has been quiet, very quiet, without a single announced project that would require the full resources of the company. With a new Nintendo console on the way, the time seems right for Retro to once again showcase its ability to carry major Nintendo brands, this time in HD. Of course, there's also a certain rookie 3D portable that's just finding its legs - and dominating the handheld market.

But what is Retro working on? The developer has acquired a variety of artists, designers and animators that have experience at Visceral, Vigil, Insomniac, Red Fly and Naughty Dog. In other words, folks who have worked on titles like Dead Space, Darksiders, Ratchet and Clank, Force Unleashed II on Wii and Uncharted 3 have joined one of Nintendo's premier second party/subsidiary developers.

With any luck, we'll learn what Retro has been crafting at E3 2012. Until then, here are some of our best guesses at what we might see.

Here's hoping that they have a kick ass Wii U game for this year or next.

Really sucks.

Let me ask you all. When you fill in a health insurance form and they ask for any pre-existing conditions what do you take that to mean?

To me, a pre-existing condition is a diagnosed illness, cancer, diabetes, liver disease, back pain, heart disease.

My cat had no diagnosed illness and it was the series of tests and surgery that showed up this new condition in November, months and months after we had signed up for the insurance. The insurer is saying that losing weight and eating more is an undeclared pre-existing condition. The vet told us that older cats routinely lose weight and saw no need for any treatment or tests whatsoever, they  did not suggest it was any kind of illness, until Novembers tests which then established that he had a condition - that is what we are trying to claim for.

I'm not a medical professional, as a patient if the vet doesn't tell me that there is a problem and doesn't suggest that there should be tests, what am I suppossed to do? As far as we knew, everything was normal and the insurance forms were completed in good faith.

You are supposed to take it up your ass. That is how insurance companies work, they are nothing more than a legalized mob.

Sorry to hear that GG.

Arm dude clearly was missing the 3D arm pieces, there was tape where it was supposed to be attached.

RE will be fantastic!

I just bought Mario and Luigi BIS for $15, it finally went down in price. Only took like 3 years.

Its funny that Retro Studios lost a few people to the God of War team back in the day, and now they are taking people from Naughty Dog and Insomniac. lol
