Prototype version of Metroid Prime 3 released
It seems the title was first built for GameCube hardware and then moved over to Wii. For a much more technical look than I can provide, hit up the link

Iga vs Grammaton at the PGD, yes please!
I masturbated to the GI article about the new X-Com, its that good! It is everything a fan of the original could dream of. I am all over it. I am so thankful that crappy other X-Com game is not the only one, this is one of the greatest ideas of this gen.
It is hardly a fight, all he called me is a troll, I think. That is like calling a spade a spade.
Droll, not troll.
droll (drl)
adj. droll·er, droll·est
Amusingly odd or whimsically comical.
n. Archaic
A buffoon.
So some guy from Gamespot is claiming the Wii U won't be able to share tech and art assets with the other consoles because its "too different":
"Though Nintendo has continued to assert that it needs third-party support, it is increasingly unlikely to get it if its offering is going to be as different from its competitors as it appears. Developers for the next generation of games will not be able to support two different build targets for their games because both the financial and time cost will be so high. These studios need to be able to build the core tech and generate art assets once, and then deliver them across the console platforms and PC. If a platform (like the Wii U) can't share in that, it's unlikely to get any support."

Oh silly me I thought me just mispelled troll.
Yeah I can be a droll too.
Yeah, not believing that. There were developer interviews that said porting 360 code to Wii-U is very easy. Unless the 720 and PS4 are different architecture all together. But I don't think they will be that different.
Yeah doesn't make sense to me.
When it came to the Wii, then yes....makes sense. But the Wii U is based on modern technology....supposedly it has a custom version of the graphics card in my PC. I don't see it having the same problems as the Wii.
That's terrible GG.
Health insurance for pets is only starting here really, and naturally it's a sham.
Doesn't MMA stand for Man on Man Action?
I believe so unless it's simply Man on Man Anal.
Insurance completely sucks.
Car insurance for instance is only useful if you total your car. If you have a minor accident or a repair that needs doing you have to pay an excess which is usually hundreds of pounds anyway. If the claim amount is large you pay the excess, get your money but then the following year you lose your no claims discount and your monthly fees go up extortionately anyway. So you are paying for the repairs either way whilst legally still having to pay for monthly car insurance too.
Thanks man. I don't know what I'm suppossed to do about the cats cancer medication. It's lifelong and $160 a month, $2000 a year or so. Even with the insurance I would have had to pay a proportion of that, without insurance I have to either pony up or watch him suffer and die. The worst thing is that the insurer's mission statement is:
''Friends Insurance is an ethical pet insurance company that donates large amounts from our own profits to animal charities worldwide each year to help less fortunate animals in desperate need of care, attention, shelter and sometimes just love.''
Ironic.
That's John Davison, former EGM editor the english guy?
It's based on same presumption that Wii U like Wii 1 will be outdated by new tech that works with a different architexture.
I think if the new architexture is troublesome to work on like PS3 in the early days that might even work in Wii Us favour as it has been said that it's fairly easy to port games to the system.
RE Revelations EDGE review details
EDGE score - 6 out of 10
- Consistently high production values. Sets a new visual standard for 3DS Stellar character models and animation
- Takes most of its cues from 'Resident Evil 5's gung-ho gameplay'
- 'There's variety to the levels, but they're a mishmash of beauty and blandness'
- 'Scanning enemies [with the genesis device] while they're alive adds a nail-biting-time-attack layer, forcing you to find some distance and monitor your health while learning more about the lumbering freaks.'
- Enemies described as braindead, with no sense of spatial awareness. The first person shooting option emphasises their erratic behaviour.
- Jill Valentine's level, the cruise ship, is described as the best portion of the game, hitting ' a fine loop of exploratory memory tests and corridor shooting...it's a shame this solid, engrossing loop is broken by an episodic structure and the design team's commitment to a fractured narrative. Bizarrely, the third act gives introduces a comic-relief double act...if the game gave itself over entirely to the survivalist thrills of Queen Zenobia, discarding the more trigger happy scenarios offered up by the ensemble cast, Revelations would be a more coherent, singular, and dynamic experience.'
- Plot described as convoluted and heavy-handed. 'It's a far more standalone affair than the numbered entries in the series and , sadly, far less gripping for it.' NPC comrades are 'largely redundant and distract from the sense of isolation with their cringe-worthy chatter.'
- 'Revelations picks up the ball and runs even farther towards the casual-shooter goal.' The addition of the side-step has 'removed one of its most pivotal suspense devices: your sense of helplessness.'
- 'The co-op Raid mode is, ironically, better suited to a lone player, recycling singleplayer environs that are by their very nature tailored for one, with their countless corridors and assorted cramped spaces. There's none of RE0's co-op puzzling here, besides the need to do some heavy door lifting. It feels like a missed opportunity.'
Man judging by that Wii U thread at Gamespot, there's not alot of love for Nintendo over there anymore. I personally think the Wii U sounds really cool, so I was taken by surprise how many people over there seem to just blindly and ignorantly not like it at all for some reason.
Way too early to even guess at what Wii U will be or can be.. no need to panic.
Surprised? You cant say a good thing about Nintendo over there without 15 people jumping all over you. Everyone that used to enjoy Nintendo games are now here.
Agreed as far as I am concerned it does not exist until I see games and it is almost out. Living in the present is so much easier.
