Its TES, I was interested the second it was announced. I cant wait for Skyrim. I have actually avoided everything since E3, I do know about the perks which sound awesome.
OMG Raven! Welcome to the club!
How did you start playing so fast. It takes almost everyone hours to get the PS3 updated and ready to go.
^ Yeah, I was surprised it only took five mintues for the system update. I think it's because I bought the new Uncharted 3/PS3 bundle, which came out this week, so it was mostly updated already.
I've signed up with PSN now. Why does PSN+ require a credit card when I have a free 30-day card in my hand? WTF, Sony?
It is set for auto renew. You have to diactivate it in the services menu.
^ Yeah, that sucks. I don't want to give Sony my CC info. I only use points cards on consoles now. No PS+ for me.
Oh, well. Everything else is great so far. I'm downloading the God of War 3 demo. Never played a GoW game before.
YODA WAS HERE!!!

YAY YODA ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Oop! I got so excited I posted twice!
YAY ! ! ! !
Ya know what? I don't think I've ever seen Jim Sterling (aka Fat Troll from Destructoid) look so content or at ease before in any picture, ever! He just looks like he is in his element, handling equipment he is quite familar with and uses often. Call me crazy!
You are correct there. You are a furry.
Don't forget the PSN name for the rest of us to add you!

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileOops, I forgot about that. It's Ravenprose
So I finally ended my console sabbatical with Sonic Generations..... it's about as enjoyable as a poke in the eye.
OKay maybe not that bad, but I don't quite get the high ratings its gotten from a few places. The classic levels are just reminding me how much better pure 2-D Sonic is than the 3-D one. It's still early but so far I enjoyed Colors more.
Uncharted 3 is done! Last few levels were kinda meh....too predictable. Good game, but its no Uncharted 2. I'd give it an 8.6 rating.
See, everyone has a good side.
Only about 10 minutes or so.
I can't let Hamster steal all the thunder today...

OMG! Grabbing a gun from a dead guy, while riding a horse is so awesome.
I played more of Real Racing 2 and I think it's the most fun I've had with a racing game since TrackMania.
The game certainly isn't perfect or anywhere close to that but since I'm not a total racing/sim nut I never, ever purchased a wheel for any of my consoles so these analog tilt controls are the closest experience to that for me outside arcade games that I haven't touched in ages. They really work well and make for a very fun experience, especially with the in-car view. I don't even mind the lack of manual transmission and analog gas/break yet.
You could argue Wii could offer a similar experience and also have buttons for gas/break/transmissions but few, if any, bothered serious racing attempts on it, and I actually think having the screen so in your face helps the experience too. At least, for whatever reason, I never felt the Mario Kart Wii controls this fun. In this game so far it just feels great to be able to hold your racing line pretty damn precisely (I've disabled most aids too).
Do any PS3 racing games work well with DualShock 3 tilt based steering or is that dodgy? It works so well on iPad2 that i found myself wishing for Daytona to be ported if SEGA could manage to find an intuitive way to add manual transmission if not also analog gas/break (I've got a few ideas that could semi-work, at least much better than not having AT option at all, I elaborated on GAF but there's no reason to post them here I guess).
Edit: and of course again I'm not recommending this thing if you can't get it cheap. Just speaking as someone who got a hold of it under certain conditions and enjoys some of what it offers. You'd be better off buying a cheaper decent racing wheel for your consoles and/or PC instead. But if you do get one of these for other reasons then it's nice to have games like that too, for someone who doesn't have a wheel.
