Indisputably, this Wii game - released in the twilight months of its host console - is the strongest JRPG to emerge in years.
-Eurogamer (9/10)
I told you guys, I told you this game is awesome.
The optimist proclaims we live in the best of all possible worlds
while the pessimist fears this is true.

The last time I went to a games expo they were showing Eternal Darkness and Pikmin. They always host them in awkward areas to get to and it's not worth my time.
I really want to like that Lollipop Chainsaw game but it looks so derivative of No More Heroes, it feels like a one joke side level in NMH, not something worthy of its own game.
I sort of agree with the guy about the Vita being a train wreck, purely on price and what happened to 3DS as well as people using their smartphones more. It's a daunting prospect, launching a high tech handheld like that in this market when everyone else has already bloodied the waters.
There, easy.
Agnates, thanks for the RE videos, looking good.
Iga, Xenoblade looks great, all 9/10 reviews so far. Still thinking about getting it.
I'm still most disturbed about Nintendo going forward, if they refuse to release games like Xenoblade and Last Story not just worldwide, but in America of all places. Its obvious Xenoblade is not just an average game and Nintendo is treating it as such. This is an outstanding, forward thinking, possibly the best JRPG in years since Lost Odyssey, and one of the only JRPG's that really seems worthy to standing with the best of the past, of this entire generation....out of maybe 3 or 4 TOPS. And Nintendo, who has virtually NOTHING else to offer in the way of AAA games, will not release it in America.
This isn't painting Nintendo as the elite games company who cares about the passion of integrity in gaming that they used to be. Its painting them as the penny pinching company who cares much more about the dollar sign than it does about quality games.
Is that RE 3DS? It looks like the same type of game as RE5, but set in a cold climate.
Robio, Did you know this was coming?

Welcome to the incompotent, arsehole side of Nintendo. Been living for the past two decades.
Yep I saw the announcement yesterday. Now for the big question.... which console? It's $10 cheaper on the Wii and it looks like the Wii was the primary console it was designed for too. On the other hand I'd have to hook my Wii up from the kid's media room to the TV I play on so it's still a toss up. Getting a new Wii is also a possibility though. If I'm going to play XenoBlade it has to be done on an HDTV, as SD sets can't play EU games even with the mod.

Ubisoft leak Project Osborn:
Ubisoft is working on a new intellectual property called Project Osborn (temporary title) where terrorism takes place on American soil and one of the antagonists, a source tells Siliconera, is a descendant of George Washington.
John Washington (42 years old) grew up in Virginia. He traced his roots back to 400 years in Jamestown and his family history filled the young Washington with a sense of patriotism. Washington is a West Point graduate where he wrote a thesis on guerilla warfare. In 2003, Washington traveled to Afghanistan where he had a chance to stop Al Qaeda, but the military turned on him and sent an airstrike to destroy his base. While his unit was killed, Washington survived and started the Minutemen to save America… from itself.
Washington believes the nation has lost its way and wants to rebuild the country in the image of its forefathers – Washington’s ancestors. Using his knowledge on guerilla warfare tactics, Washington created a number of terror cells. Ubisoft describes him as a "modern day William Wallace."
"Osborn" is the opposing side in Project Osborn. This group, led by a Navy Seal, is assigned to stop Washington. You get to play the game, a squad shooter with stealth elements, from both perspectives. Battles in Project Osborn are set in America. One mission takes place on the Brooklyn Bridge where Osborn ambushes the Minutemen. In this area you meet a proxy bomber whose family has been taken by Washington. Osborn sends in a squad to diffuse the bomb, but fail to do so in time. The leader of the group apologizes to the condemned man, but doesn’t know what to do. At this point, a prompt comes up for the player to push the man off the bridge.
Project Osborn is said to be in development for high-definition machines. We’ll take that as at least PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Isn't Agent supposed to be PS3 exclusive? Those graphics don't look very impressive. Maybe its early shots?
Project Osborn sounds really cool.....original idea. At least its not just another cookie cutter war based shooter.
Epic ending their love affair with Xbox? Oh the juicy gossip!
I bet 4 out of 5 end up on 360.
Edgy you missed so many awesome jRPGs on the NDS. There are tons and tons of them.
You would never know that Bungie isn't making that game.
It's NOA that is the problem at the moment. Ironically Europe is the best place to be a Nintendo gamer, we get all the western stuff and some choice cuts from Japan.
Nintendo should be forced to release AAA 1st-party games worldwide....all hardware makers should. Fuck this different dictatorships in different regions crap. And fuck Reggie with the knife dildo from the movie Seven!
IMO region locking needs to end, not just for games but for movies too. There is no CD region locking. The crap needs to end.
