My copy of Xenoblade Chronicles has shipped
. Should be waiting for me when I get home at the end of the month!
Also whilst walking around in Manhattan I tried Chipotle for the first time in my life today. I really enjoyed it. Really tasty fast food and not too expensive. I remember someone years ago telling me it was owned by McDonalds, is that true?

Well to come back to the Sidney versus Melbourne thing.
Sidney is a bigger city, but also more spread out. Melbourne is smaller, but everything in the center is in walking distance. Melbournes public transportation totally destroys Sidney's. Melbourne is smaller more compact, but better 'designed'.
Climate wise Melbourne is cooler, wetter and greener, while Sidney is dryer. Melbourne's botanical gardens destroy Sidney's.
Sydney has a more snobbish vibe, while Melbourne is more laid back. Also Melbourne has more buzz, there are more things happening. When I was there, they had a thai cultural thing. Also Melbourne has the Australian Open. Sydney has the Opera House, but that thing looks ugly from close.
I will not call any of them EU like, because all the city in Europe I have been to have all been very distinct from each other. I did notice that both Sydney and Melbourne have a greater east Asian population then Europe, but Europe has a bigger African community.
STILL no more Deus Ex reviews.
Melbourne has more killer spiders and snakes though.
Retro Game Challenge is under $14 for those of you in the US. (DS)
You should really consider it if you are from the NES era, it's not a compilation, but new games made in the style of the old days and instead of just playing through them they give you challenges to meet (think achievements and unlocks).

False. there are no spiders and snakes in Melbourne. They all fear Foolz.
By the way I don't know if anyone else has seen this, but Joystiq has actually posted instructions on how to hack the Wii in order to play European games. They say multiple times that illegally playing games is wrong etc., but I wonder if NOA is going to say something about that. - http://www.joystiq.com/2011/08/19/how-to-play-xenoblade-chronicles-if-you-live-in-america/
From Ebay.
Now that's product placement.

So thats what that 80s actor is doing now!
Its just a normal embargo, nothing to do with scores. Don't worry, this game is amazing. Thousands have played the first 10 hours of the game which leaked, everyone LOVES it. Its a gift to all original Deus Ex fans.
Yup, adding a Super Mario 2 glass into an ad for a bra is bound to increase sales. Women are 37% of gamers now or something.
The Africans are mainly in the suburbs and you don't see as many in the city. Though there's hardly any compared to Asians.
It's now 5 days after release. This stinks to high heaven.
I'd add, the reason anyone should come to Australia is NOT for the cities. There are far better cities pertty much anywhere else in the world (at least in terms of visiting -- not living). The reason to come to Australia is for the rain forests and tropical waters of North Queensland. Right now, if you are planning, put it off for another 5-7 years though since the latest cyclones have completely destroyed the forests. it looks like Hiroshima up there right now.
Finally, El Shaddai sounds like a required pick-up. God of War/ Devil May Cry stle of game where you use only one button for combat (different rhytyms for different moves), along with 11 levels which each have a different visual style.
Based on the Book of Enoch from the Talmud (not the Old testament) where Lucifer talks to Yahweh on a cell-phone? Sounds awesome.
" It's not only one of the best JRPGs in years; it's also one of the best RPGs regardless of subgenre. Xenoblade Chronicles is a captivating, magical game which deserves to be hailed as the revolution it is."
Yes Nintendo, you have made the right choice. No reason to release a game of this quality in America.
Played more Xenoblade.
Some pretty epic shit started happening. All very anime, highly emotional and cool, not original but thrilling nonetheless.
I'm really, really starting to admire the battle system in this game. It's a cinch to use, yet has layers and layers of depth. Fights are exciting but also tactical.
I can't really tell you what happened as I don't want to spoil the story, but let's just say that the stakes were immediately raised, as was the tension. And now, finally I am setting out on this epic, massive adventure. Seems like it will be a huge shame for the North Americans to miss out on this one.
Wow @ Gamespots Xenoblade review, all this and only 9.0?
Can't say I like the Gamecube hate in this article, but the idea is funny nonetheless.

Depends if you like living dangerously.
Not when it forces me to pay double price.
