Yes! Prime is probably my favorite game of all time. You'll probably never find a better exploration game. You should definitely pick up the trilogy for the Wii. I think I spent something like eight weeks straight playing that disc...only that disc.
I actually finished Metroid Prime.
Yeah the Trilogy disc is one of the best deals in gaming....3 great to incredible games in one package, with superior controls, and a very cool case. Its incredibly hard to find now though...you'd likely have to get it off ebay or amazon for about 70+ dollars. The only other package that is as great as this one though, is Half Life 2: The Orange Box.
I skipped Trilogy; I'd rather play Metroid Prime with a GCN controller than with IR.
And miss the best way to play it? HELL NO!
I didn't miss anything. IR sucks.
It actually works really well for the Metroid games IMO. Especially since the Gamecube versions had gimped analog controls since you couldn't free look with the 2nd stick thanks to the lack of buttons causing Retro to map beam controls to the 2nd stick. In the Wii version you can free look like a motherfucker, and I've actually noticed quite a few cool things just looking around that I never saw before.
The only problem with this is then you'd actually need to buy Move.
I wish I had seen a hearse today with a bumper sticker that said, "honk if you're mourning".
Breath of Fire 4 Coming to PSN
A lot of people have said that BoF4 was the best of the series. Wonder if I should give it a shot. I enjoyed the first two (particularly the 2nd), but I found BoF3 to be a super generic game without any interesting qualities so I never tried 4. Anyone ever play it before and can say if they think it'd be worth playing?
Was the site not working properly for anyone else yesterday?
Whew. Done with Amensia: The Dark Descent. Such a stressful game, though toward the end it got less and less creepy, but it was still interesting, and that was only the last hour or so where the story revealed almost everything it could and it was sort of clear you were about to be done with it all very, very soon. According to Steam it took me about 10 hours to finish it which isn't bad for an adventure game of this type, even if the smooth engine and controls bring it closer to other genres like whatever Silent Hill: Shattered Memories fits into (which are also fairly short anyway). I was surprised with the variety in environments considering the setting, I expected it to be mostly like the very beginning, a run down mansion and such with little deviation to keep the development costs down, but that wasn't the case. The game is top quality through and through, even if a very few and largely insignificant visual flaws and quirks here and there make its indie nature evident. I've got the Justine side story left, but I'll leave it for later. After that I'll see what custom stories fans have created.

Fedor needs to retire. He used to be the least hit fighter, that was never knocked down. Now he get's more shots in the face than Jenna Jamenson in his last two fights. Even if the stoppage was early, Fedor should not even be in that position anyway. Father time destroys yet another great fighter.
This will please many web developers. A recent survey by AptiQuant, a psychometric consulting company based in Canada, has concluded that Internet Explorer users have a lower Intelligence Quotient than users of other browsers. Those with IE6 scored little over 80. Firefox, Chrome and Safari users fared better at 110. The most intelligent people — with an average IQ of 125 — use Opera (that’ll please their marketing department!)
The 2011 assessment sampled 101,326 individuals over the age of 16 from the US, Canada, UK, Australia and New Zealand. The company offered a free IQ test which most participants found via organic search results or PPC advertising campaigns. Subjects were not aware their browser preference was being monitored.
The researchers observed:
- IE users had a significantly lower IQ.
- There was little difference in the IQ for Firefox, Chrome and Safari users.
- Individuals using Opera, Camino, and IE with Chrome Frame had the highest average IQ.

In Canada hey? So that is what Yoda has been up to lately.
I need help with FFIV on DS. I'm about 20 hours in and the game instead of getting easier is actually getting a lot harder. I'm sure i've been playing this in completely the wrong way and haven't really paid much any attention to the "augment" system. I'm now in the underworld and have no way yet to get back to the overworld. Rydia is back but she is so weak she often dies in one blow so it's difficult to even try to level her up.
Aspro? Robio? Anyone else who has played this? Is there a way I can salvage this and somehow see the game through to the end or do I need to start again?

What a load of shit. It is very easy to mod your Wii to play imported titles. And just because you are modding your wii it does not make you a pirate and even if you did pirate Xenoblade, Nintendo does not care. If they wanted your money they would have released the game in North America.
