I wish they would make as nice of a gesture to US Wii owners and release some fucking RPG's on the dying bitch.
What the fuck is an Ambassador? Like the guy who comes to shake hands and kiss ass so his country doesn't get bombed to shit?
American foreign policy in a nutshell
You know this could affect Wii U if the hardware is still not final, they could go with the cheap option in light of what a high price has done to stunt 3DS sales. You could be looking at a cheaper yet lower spec Wii U launching next year because of this. IMO they should have made a more gradual price cut, relaunched the advertising and push the development schedule up of some key games. One thing I noticed here in the UK, compared to the DS is that the advertising did not continue and wasn't long term compared to the way the marketed some DS games for anything up to a year after the game launched.
Nintendo is doomed!
Well they had a nice run, now back to making Hanafuna cards.
I am at work, I almost laughed out loud. LOL. As long as I get free stuff I am happy.
GG! I will write something for you later, can't do it on the phone.
It won like, what 9 Tony's? It's going to be sold out until the end of time.

Remember when NES games came free with Animal Crossing?
Unless it's just the news sources I read, I'm surprised no-one picked up on the Norway idiot's mentioning that he used Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 as a training tool.
I can see why the gaming media would not pick up on it, but even the regular media have been silent on it (but for that one local story I read). Usually they pounce on any vague reference to gaming in the persons life, and in this case he credits a specific title as helping him train and nothing...

And how long till a DS price drop? I wouldn't mind getting another one.
So it's pretty clear why Capcom is milking MvC and cutting marginal games now that their quarterly results are out.

Ninty stock prices:
I saw that buried on CNN.com and chose to ignore it. I think even the media want this guy totally accountable for what he did. No scapegoats this time. This was just too much.
That was the only reason I even bought that piece of crud game. However, the "gift" games that I got were Balloon Fight and Donkey Kong Math. Needless to say I wasn't enthused enough to keep playing.
I was thinking the same thing. Instead of a 3DS, I feel much more inclined to buy a DSi. Especially since my DS has a shoddy touch screen

Yeah, my guess was the story had enough heat they didn't have to add anything to it. I bet PR at Activision are doing this:
My favourite online retailer (zavvi) just did a price drop for three games on my watch list: Portal 2, Crysis 2 and Shadows of the Damned are priced down to £23.99 each, which is theoretically half-price (if you are stupid enough to believe the RRP) but they are still one price-cut away from my sweet spot. It won't be long until they are £15- £18 each which is effective half price ... and time to strike.

Once again handhelds fuck over Nintendo's console fans. The thing is, a high price for cutting edge tech is much more acceptable in the home console business than it is handhelds, and at this point everyone knows the Wii 2 is basically a Super charged Xbox 360, which by the time Wii 2 comes out will be 7 year old tech! So they are already taking the cheap option.
All they could really change is the size of the internal memory, or maybe cut the size of the controller's screen down.
