Chill man. Fog of war and all that. They rushed the initial details out as soon as possible, clarification was later needed. Also, that Brennan dude, when he relayed many of those details got himself whipped up emotionally, which is where most of the errors were made -- when he went on his rant about who bin Laden was, hangin out in a mansion using women as shields. He F'd up, and was walking back his statement in that same conference.
They clarified their statements within 24 hours.
As for the photos, who needs them other than those with bloodlust or conspiracy nut jobs. To the latter group, we have DNA and the silence of UBL -- if he were alive we'd be getting a new video. To those that want to see a dead body, it's the 21st century, move on. Trophies of war don't need to be paraded around, it's enough that he's gone.
Assange has blathered his way into irrellevance at this point, he can sleep easy.

What a great song. Yes I want some good info as well and definetly pictures more so just to see his dead body. I say they release the operation video on pay per view. Sorry not buying that. They information is done like that purposely. They are drip feeding information just enough to keep people hooked. They had video taped, they had the SEAL debrieving, they had videos. They could have at least gave a precise and coherent chain of events. Give all of it and be done with it. Either they are doing it on purpose or they are incompentent. Well it is true what they say, in war the first casualty is the truth. Well I had enough, we will probably never know what happened exactly.

Look at it this way. If someone would make a claim in the scientific world, we would need to be able to reproduce the results. You just do not take someone's word for it. You remove all doubt. They did not do that, because the Muslims are so sensitive! They will be attacks by fundamentalist no matter what you do.
For the people whom think the government is lying, a photo isn't going to change their mind.
The games industry has given the US govt the ideal way to show Osama is dead. Hold a press conference, let journalists see pictures of dead Osama, but ban all recording devices, cameras etc.
That way journo's can give readers and viewers first hand accounts of their viewing of the pictures and still the pictures aren't released for the muslim world to go apeshit over.
