The dual-life the PSP leads in Japan and here is such a complete freak-out to me. It's consistently selling well there, and in the west it's the subject of ridicule.
I agree. It is strange.

High five!
Could work (translated belwo from french). Talk about a non-story though.
3DS Getting Deadly Premonition?
Swery (the creator of the game) seems positive that a 3D perspective could greatly improve its centerpiece,
providing examples of how certain aspects of the game would be boosted through original technology of the new portable from Nintendo.
On the other hand, the manager was also quick to say he can not promise anything when whether Deadly Premonition will really make a turn through the box 3DS
wd such remainder of the order of the publisher.
From the comments in the story
'Exactly. When I see that Cavia farm just after spawning deny, I think that there 's an inconsistency somewhere, with the "players".'
Was The Last Story's development studio revealed? Searching old news is a pain. I remember people speculating it's Cavia but Cavia was disbanded a few months after the game's reveal, with Nier as their last title, so all there was were guesses between Artoon and Feel Plus just because they worked on previous Mistwalker titles.

Same guesses I saw were Artoon.
I wonder why they're keeping it a secret, I don't see any real reason other than it being a big surprise for everyone. They were secretive about everything initially, at first they didn't even reveal Sakaguchi was the director, yet after all this time we still don't know who the producer is, although Sakaguchi mentioned discussions with a "Mr. M" and initial official blog posts were discussions between the then still secret Director and the Producer of the game. Maybe it's a Nintendo studio? In a recent interview he mentioned one of the early concepts was disapproved by Nintendo (although he agreed and is also happier with the ideas they had afterwards and how the game took form) so it seems they're more involved than "merely" funding and publishing at least.

Did you guys see that Kotaku article where GT5 will have a 10GB install that'll last an hour?
It's not mandatory though, but I think it would be better to install it for PS3 owners for the best performance possible.

Re: Last Story/ Agnates
Seeing how it is quite common for a popular (or large) developer, in Japan, to take credit for the work of a smaller company I think it is a matter of "face" or lack of confidence that if they reveal a lesser known studio as the developer that will effect sales.
I just saw the recent preview for 3rd Birthday at 1up, a HUGE trailer for Japan.
They show tons of gameplay footage and it doesn't look too bad. But to be really honest, the gameplay didn't look all that great. The graphics look good for a PSP game, but since it's trying to be a third-person shooter, it didn't really impress me. After playing Resistance Retribution and MGS Peace Walker, two of the BEST PSP third-person shooters, 3rd Birthday felt a little clumsy. It kind of felt like seeing the gameplay of a B-team making a Gears of War type of game after playing Gears of War 2!
I don't know, that's the initial reaction I got from the trailer.
I'm still going to get the game and enjoy the heck out of it, but I'm not keeping my hopes up. I don't really have much faith in Square-Enix in making third-person or any kind of shooter, like how the crappy Dirge of Cerberus turned out. And this is Square-Enix trying to do something that they never really done before, which is making a shooter on a PSP.
I don't know, I don't have too much hope for it. I'm still looking forward to it though.

Also that Catherine trailer is awesome.
What? GT5 installs while you play?
I'm scratching my head on how that'll work.

Catherine's a very strange game.
Atlus should've made a current-gen Persona by now...
...but then that means they'd have to redo all their character models and graphics engine and can't port 3 different versions to the PSP and PS2 afterward!

Isn't the install optional? Well the large one, so maybe you'll just be playing the uninstalled version while the installed version installs.
i think there were a few eyebrows raised when Artoon was revealed as the developer for Yoshi's Island 2, but I thoroughly enjoyed that game. It did justice to the original, if nothing else

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
P4 was well within the current generation even if they chose to release it on the PS2. In fact I think the PS2 was part of this generation, at least up to some point

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
I have not watched Supernatural lately, now I will watch 2 in one day.
OMG I am so hard right now!
Catherine looks a little too strange for my tastes. Then again that may be unfair to say since gameplay-wise the only thing I got out of the trailer was you apparently spend time sitting around in a diner.
atlus has a 3ds version of Persona1 that they are going to make, but to be fair atlus's is mostly staying away from maing HD games besides demon's soul any HD game they worked on got bad reviews and didn't sell well so they kept working on ps2 games but now with the ps2 99% dead even more like99.9% dead in america they are starting to work on HD systems a bit more, i am sure there will be p5 on the ps3 next year or in 2012 for japan
When Sakaguchi mentioned a Mr M I thought he was referring to Miyamoto.
