I've seen that game used for like £6.
Always tempted but always put off by tilting motion controls.
Oh! Don't you just hate it when you find a song you like and can't find the version you want listed for download to buy?
Where is the live version damnit?
Well this really iisn't too much like Dewey. Should be a lot better for at least one reason; Nintendo is developing this game this game themselves (hat should answer one of your questions Geek. Oh and yes Steam is the third state of water. Your grade school teachers are crying that you even asked that.
I think having it be a 2D game on one plane will be the reason tilting works and feels good. But then Monkey Ball and Kororinpa are allright I hear. The first Monkey ball wii was a screw over because they made you hold the wii remote pointing at the screen do you couldn't get the full range of motion that you would with two hands and holding the wii remote sideways.
i've tried several of these wii games because i like this type (marble madness) of game when done right. i think the best ones on wii are mercury and kororinpa. not so much the monkey ball games

I've always been tempted by Kororinpa but its reviews have varied a lot.
US game writers get massive pay cut
This seriously pisses me off. If you ever want to be unappreciated, be a professional writer. If you a write in a professor setting that's anything other than Hollywood related more than likely you're treated really poorly, essentially like what you do is easy and can be done by anyone. Hell you don't have to look far to see examples. How many good video game reviewers have you seen tossed aside to be replaced with guys who can't put two sentences together?
To bring it a little closer to home let me tell you a quick story. Earlier in the year a friend suggested I go to Textbroker.com. It's a site for freelance writers to get assignments from companies and individuals who need articles written. Great concept. I used to write for a magazine so I figured this could be a good opportunity for extra money. Not really... the average fee for submitting a 500 word article is around $4.00. Years ago the fee for 500 words was around $50, and that's on the lowest end. But anyone with a computer can write, so why pay for quality?
Anyway getting back to the Eurogamer article, I sort of get why the pay cut took place. No question that most dialogue in videogames is crap, but by keeping the pay low they're ensuring that it will never get better.
I didn't like Kororinpa at all. The few levels were good, but once you hit the third zone/world it became way too difficult. It has very loose controls and it's just too easy to lose the marble.
Wow, they're doing a system bundle too.

while the pessimist fears this is true.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Got to give it to Nintendo they are really putting thier full weight behind Last Story. The bundle really shows they think this game can move systems. Just stregthens my opinion that we won't see the Wii 2 until 2012.
Why am I seeing this Xenoblade pic for the first time?
In other news, I gotta give it to those OnLive guys. I did not think they'd ever get to making the TV adapter for their service. I doubt they are profitable, but in the circumstances in which they allow their service to be used the concept is working on PC's without too much complaints.
I don't think they'll be in business this time next year, but I'll eat my humble pie now and say I was wrong. Also, early in the Natal days I said I di dnot think that it would sell more than 400,000 -- well I was wrong about that too. Good for you MS.
