Ewoks ftw.
Hahaha...
Last gen I probably preferred PS2 over Xbox, just because PS2 had so many exclusives. Though I liked the Xbox much more as a system. But this gen the systems are SO fucking similar in games and technology that it almost doesn't matter which one you have.
Though I do prefer Xbox over PS3. I like the few exclusives each has more on the Xbox....Halo, Fable, Mass Effect, Alan Wake, etc. And I definitely prefer the Xbox controller, as well as the speedier online.
I could see Move being a swayer if it was cheaper and it seemed like more effort was going into it, but I don't think its going to make much of an impact on PS3 without a HUGE game requiring it, like an exclusive GTA game or something.
I don't get it. What's with the cheering?

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileIts a new scene from a beloved movie, not much needed for people to cheer. Luke working on his new lightsaber has never been shown before, its been covered in books and stuff so seeing it in film is really cool.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileEverything about the movie is good I just feel it didn't settle into any one category. It funny but it's not a full on comedy, I feel it could have been cause the movie has a wicked sense of humor. It's a romance but again not fully a romantic comedy as there is all sorts of crazy stuff going on. There is over the top amazing action but again its not really an action movie. Its a lot of things that never came together for me and yet I had a great time watching it.
ATTACK!!!
This means you can watch SW on the PS3 in beautiful HD quality, so yes its related to gaming.
I mean in general.
I'll start things off...I've been playing a lot of Castlevania lately:
Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow
Castlevania Order of Ecclesia
Castlevania Harmony of Despair
Oh, and Robio, I returned Castlevania Judgment. I still enjoyed it, but thought it was a waste of money. Next time, I'll use my better "judgment" and buy a game that I really want and not on impulse.
And...I picked this up at a bargain bin for under $10.
Conan
It's not bad. It's definitely no God of War but it's a pretty good action game, even though it's frustrating at times and the animation is a little stiff. The boss battles are pretty cool though.

I'd like to say it's nice to see the game didn't cause any permanent damage to you, but with a pun like that I'd say the damage is too obvious to ignore.
As far as my own gaming I went back and finished Galaxy 2 since everyone else seems to be doing that right now. I didn't realized I was a close as I was to finishing the game when I shelved it (or rather returned it to RedBox). I'm now trying to see if I can get the 120 stars and at the moment I'm at 86 or so. The damned comet challenges really are starting to kill the fun though.
Also started playing some Boy and His Blob again, giving the game a second try. Now that my expectations are a little more tempered I'm enjoying the game a good bit more than I did the last time. I appreciate the way it was made, but I have to say even a throwaway Mario-esque narrative would have helped this game a lot.
And I still need to play A Boy and His Blob. It's a great game. But I think my love for it is more of my appreciation for the artwork. As a game, it's a competent puzzle/platformer. It's like Muramasa. The gameplay can get a little repetitive but the artwork is so good it's worth playing through it.

i'm like that as well, if i love the way a game looks (and i don't mean that in the graphic whore sense, more interested in the art style) i am very forgiving if the gameplay is less than stellar or leaves things to be desired

The 2D artwork gets me all the time. I think it's fair to say that most current-gen games on the HD consoles have good graphics but I won't play them because the games aren't that great.
Yeah. I highly regretted selling them earlier and when Castlevania Harmony came out, it made me want to play them again. I re-purchased them. It was kind of a waste of money but I also felt it was worth it.
I can't believe how fun they still are. I'm having a blast with Dawn of Sorrow and Order of Ecclesia. Before I traded them, I just played through it just so I can get far in the game. But this time, I'm taking my time and appreciating the game more which makes it more rewarding.
Fantastic games.
