So no one has said anything but do you guys outside of europe realise that Europe has been shutdown since last thursday because of volcanic ash coming out of Iceland?
Hundreds of thousands of people are trapped overseas as airflights have been grounded.
I've been watching the Icelandic volcano very closely. Originally it was just because I had some friends going to Scotland on Thursday and now their plans look like they're going to have be scrapped.
What's more interesting though is that this erruption may be a prelude to an even bigger one. Got to tell you the past 18 months has really sucked for Iceland.
Airspace over Scotland is open now.
Iceland... first they screw over UK savers and councils (including my council and taxpayers money) with their banks, then they vote against paying back the money they owe. And now their volcano screws over the whole of europe and delays the release of Shattered Memories in Austrailia.
Well damn, I was kind of hoping they wouldn't be able to go. I really don't like them that much.
That would be me. I'll keep an eye on it. I do CTRL+F most of my updates. Thanks for the heads-up. Rancid penis.

Also at Captivate this year: from the mind of Shu Takumi, the original creator of Capcom’s Ace Attorney series comes Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective, an innovative DS title that combines style, complex puzzles, and the engaging storytelling that you have come to expect from the Ace Attorney series! Check out the trailer above and see why I've fallen in love with this game's incredible art style!
In Ghost Trick Phantom Detective, players are transported into the spirit world of Sissel, a murder victim who has lost his memory and returned as a ghost to solve the mystery of his suspicious demise. As Sissel’s ghost, it’s up to the player to possess and manipulate items found in the real world to take his time and have fun in solving the captivating puzzles he encounters.
Release Date: Winter 2010
Genre: Mystery Adventure
Platform: Nintendo DS™ and DSi™
Rating: TBD
Developer: Capcom
Ghost Trick™ Phantom Detective will be coming to Nintendo DS™ and DSi™ in Winter 2010. Brought to you by Shu Takumi, the original creator of Capcom’s Ace Attorney™ series, Ghost Trick™ Phantom Detective tells an intriguing story, depicted with rich animation, combining logic puzzles and elements of humour that those familiar with the Ace Attorney games will know and love. The story of Ghost Trick™ Phantom Detective starts with the protagonist having already been dead. Gamers will be entertained for hours with over a dozen chapters full of mystery and surprise as the spirit world collides with real life.
In Ghost Trick™ Phantom Detective, players are transported into the spirit world of Sissel, a murder victim who has lost his memory and returned as a ghost to solve the mystery of his suspicious demise. As Sissel’s ghost, it’s up to the player to possess and manipulate items found in the real world to take his time and have fun in solving the captivating puzzles he encounters.
Using the stylus, players can manipulate inanimate objects in order to protect innocent victims and alter their fate. In order to save their lives, players will have many routes to choose from to scare off the victims’ assassins – some more obvious than others. It’s up to the player to use strategy in order to choose the best path and solve the crime, but be warned that Sissel only has until dawn before he has to leave the supernatural world for good. As Sissel progresses through the game, the mystery of his own death will be revealed to him over time. Will players discover the truth before his time runs out?
Features:
+ Brought to you by the creator of the Ace Attorney™ series, Shu Takumi
+ Intriguing plot mixing intrigue, which starts with the protagonist’s death and humour will draw players into Sissel’s search for the truth
+ Utilise the stylus to create a path for Sissel to travel and possess and manipulate items along the way
+ Hours of engaging gameplay filled with logic puzzles
+ Rich animation, unique art style graphics and character designs make this a truly distinct offering for the DS no other games ever can .
I want it probably more than anyone, but at this point I wouldn't begrudge SEGA if they acted in their own self interest by not releasing it.
That is a good sign. I don't see who the market is for this game at all. That is to say I can;t fill out the blank in the sentence, "The people who rushed out to buy the Wii game ______ are sure to be enthused about Capcom's new game, MOnster Hunter Tri."
Scribblenauts Wii could happen (Story Above).
Does anyone want it to? I could see it working with a system that has a keyboard for the controller, but not the wii.
Awesome game.
Maybe have a pop up dictionary, you click the first letter of the item you want and then select it.
Yeah, it's been the leading story in the US and Australia for the duration.
Over here has been widely commented too. I bitchslapped someone here at work for saying this was caused by global warming.
