Well that cheered me right up. That is joy in game form.
So you make your own platforms with cloud mario suit.
Wont that make things too easy? I wonder if it's timed or not in terms of how long the platforms last or how long you hold onto the suit?
Cloud Mario freaking rulez. That's got to be a limited time power up...
Woo hoo! Lost Planet 2 multiplayer demo is up on XBLM. I know what I'll be playing later tonight.
SMG2 is looking pretty awesome btw.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 Thread
Bill took on the 2P role for the rest of the demo, which moved on to the Starshine Beach Galaxy. It's a total homage to Super Mario Sunshine -- at least aesthetically. There were Piantas (Sunshine's big-nosed, grass skirt wearing denizens) to interact with, and even a giant statue of one towering over the stage. The objective here was to collect five smaller, silver stars and bring them back to one of the Piantas in order to get the main star. The level also provided a chance to run across water atop a Yoshi after making him eat a Dash Pepper.
It's a visual novel, like a text adventure game.
I'd say skip it. It's not worth $30-40.

Now Playing: Golden Sun Dark Dawn, God of War Ghost of Sparta, and DKC Returns
Looks fun. Also looks harder than the first one.
I still haven't finished the first one by the way. Actually, I only have 5 stars!
I know, I should sit down and really play it one of these days. This weekend for sure!

I posted 4 new previews, new trailer and screens of Mario Galaxy 2 in the thread here:
http://thevgpress.com/forumtopics/super-mario-galaxy-2-thread_320_6.html
Cool! I'd check it out, but I'm trying to avoid as many spoilerz on this game as possible. No more trailers, pics or previews for me!
But it's probably not even a 100,000 seller. The localization costs must be significant enough, seeing how they made some shortcuts in Y3 (I am not complaining -- just saying).
I bought the first 3 -- the second one twice -- and all I'm saying is, they've done their best, I won't hold it against them if they stop selling them in the west.
Waiting for the first few reviews I am. Full Auto toyed with this concept, but this looks like the fuller implementation of those concepts. It'll also be nice to have a mid-gen HD arcade racer (since Burnout Paradise was last-gen + .5).
Pretty much. Someone needs to pick things up where the Burnout games left.
In other news...
zomg.
^Yeah, what do you think of having difficulty levels in open world games (R* said RDR will have them).
Long overdue in my opinion.
I guess it's because of the difficulty of tweaking settings within a gameworld where so many variables have to be taken into account.
