Right way up pictures and upside down text ftw!
I know this will look better on screen - hell Conduit 1 looked better on screen.
And even though Darkside Chronicles is a game set in tight corridors mostly, without having to have multiple free roaming AI and open levels..... My eyes just can't believe that Conduit 2 retains the same horrible art and how it looks so ugly in the released screens.
The Grinder looked so much better. What happened with the Conduit 2?
Yeah, Stallone had it all.
I'm trying to decide if its faster to watch paint dry vs downloading this expenables trailer on this connection.
thanks so much for the impressions. a lot of what you say is very much in line with what the IGN reviewer said. ie relationships are the key to everything in the game, and that is made apparent later on in battles. there is no leveling up as such, building relationships takes the place of leveling up. he also says, like you did, that most all the girls you have to form relationships with are very bitchy at first which he said they had to be since winning them over is a very important gameplay objective. he also said that the conversations play a hugely important role and they make the game have infinitely many branches (as well as multiple endings) which can only be fully realised by multiple playthroughs.
i'm really looking forward to this game. by the sounds of it, the closest thing i played was Persona 3, but even that doesn't sound terribly similar.

I swear to god I hate this fucking day...
In other news of course the Eurogamer reviewer loved Rune Factory. It's one of the best games made last year. The only people who still haven't picked it up are schmoes and hoes.
it's just being released on these shores, give a brother a break
great review by eurogamer but it makes it sound overwhelming, but hopefully i will get something out of it even if i can't take in all there is in the game

Nope it's been out for longer than a week for you. If you don't have it pick what you are. A schmo or a ho. Otherwise you'll just get the default rank of ho.

I just got hit with with and April fool's joke. I just booted up my Wii for the kid to play and it started up with "Repairing System.... please do not power down."
As most of you know I've done the softmod to my Wii, so my first assumption was that Nintendo found out and was bricking my system. Turns out the douchebag/genuis who figured out the mod did a little extra programming for April 1st. Turns out all you had to do was pres A + 1 + 2 and you can get out of it, but still it had me scared for a few minutes.
Like I said before, I hate this fucking day.
