It seems like an effect of bumping up the game to HD; In areas that are supposed to be lit by ceiling lights, it doesn't work right.

You know how the lights always had that strange shine? Like they thought at the time people would be impressed by it...almost like an early version of bump-mapping. Well now the shine is out of control, yet if you're not looking directly at them, the level will get really dark. Its odd.

 I think PD was a step up on every level too, but perhaps too much in some cases. The levels in Goldeneye were better in replayability because some were almost circular and could be approached a number of different ways. Some of the missions in PD are too intricate and overlong, so you can't always return for a blast, you have to do the levels in stages.

 Why are you renting this? GAF guys say it compares favourably with Heavy Rain. With a better payoff at the end.
