That was awesome.
This is the brainwashed asshole complaining about satanic themes in gaming.
Yeah. I'm glad that those affected are back up and running but I'll sure miss the funny pics, gifs, and videos although I'm sure there'll be some good ones about the PS3 coming back to life and such.Well that was anti-climactic.
So since I never did connect my PS3 to the network, and it is now fine, whatever the problem was it is still inside my machine (which I'm sure they'll patch).
System date is now April 29th 2020 which is weird...
Looking forward to what Sony will say next.

We are aware that the internal clock functionality in the PS3 units other than the slim model, recognized the year 2010 as a leap year. Having the internal clock date change from February 29 to March 1 (both GMT), we have verified that the symptoms are now resolved and that users are able to use their PS3 normally.
If the time displayed on the XMB is still incorrect, users are able to adjust time settings manually or via the internet. If we have new information, we will update you through the PlayStation.Blog or PlayStation.com.
