SMG 2 is the only game that I'm anticipating right now. Bioshock 2 will probably be good, but I'm skeptical. Gran Turismo 5 would most definitely be on that list . . . if I had a PS3 . . . and if it were coming out this year (I'm skeptical about that too). I'm most likely done with the Zelda and Metroid series; I can't be bothered to finish the games in those series I own now, so buying more would be silly. Yup, SMG 2: Possibly the ONLY game I buy in 2010? We'll see.
i have many games i am anticipating for this year but none more than the Last Guardian. the one deciding factor in me getting a ps3 was knowing that fumito ueda and team ico were working on a game for it

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
You're not anticipating Burger Time? And I thought I knew you.
Meh. I already own the Atari 2600 version.
I like how everyone dismisses IGN when they say stupid stuff, but when they rate a niche game highly, their opinion suddenly matters.
Everything News Corp touches turns to crap. Everything. That means you, Australian Golf Digest.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileThat Galaxy thread was so cool.
That's pretty much the most positive review for a Wii game I've seen in quite some time. I am looking forward to it, and very happy that I already have mine preordered. It's been a long time since I've played any kind of online console game, and I'm happy to finally have something to play against some friends with.
And as an added bonus to all of this, Capcom is actually advertising this game. I'm seeing ads online and believe it or not, ON TELEVISION. That's right, they're actually marketing a game for the Wii. Actually looks like its paying off too. If Amazon.com is accurate for determining how well a game is selling, it looks like people are hopping on the pre-order bandwagon. I think this game will hit half a million sales in its first 3 months. So unlike Excitebots, there might actually be people to play against online.
Yeah. I got by the underwater section just barely and I was proud of myself for doing so...
...but I found myself shying away from the game... almost like a dog that's been kicked one too many times...
I finally convinced myself my actions were ridiculous and popped it into the PS3 tonight...
I told myself the worst was over and I started in on the Desert section of the game.
I worked my way around the perimeter of the area, avoiding the instant-death, sand-worm boss that swallows you in one gulp if you wander too deeply into the sand. Solved a few slow-mo based puzzles to activate a giant drill near the southern end of the area. It dug a hole in the sand, with the musical clip sounding, telling me I opened a secret path. Of course, I immediately jumped into the hole...
...and found myself dumped into an underwater cavern...!
MOTHER-FUCKER ! ! ! THIS GAME IS GONNA MAKE ME HAVE A GOD-DAMNED STROKE ! ! !
C'mon ! ! ! AN UNDERWATER CAVERN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DESERT ? ! ? WTF? WTF? WTF? WTF? WTF? WTF?
So Mass Effect 2 seems totally amazing.
