8.2 - Inventory System and Stiff Storytelling

So my copy failed to show up AGAIN. Fucking amazon!
I love the traversal aspect in this game, high jump ability and no fall damage.
Okay time for my first impressions.
First I created my character. I ended up with something that could be best described as a younger version of the Hulk. Too bad you cannot make them more muscular, so that I could do a proper Hulk.
Then I started the game. I was supposed to go to New LA. But I did not want to! Spendt my time killing bugs, pigs and sleeping animals, because I can. Then around NLA I could took two paths. So naturally I took the one I was not supposed to. Saw a nice Island. Wanted to swim there. But was killed by giant floating fish thingy. Then I took the road I supposed to, fell down. Got lost. Saw giant dinosaurs. Lots of high level monsters that I had to avoid. Climbed on some hills and finally found the entrance to New LA.
Getting lost was fun.

Getting lost certainly sounds like it was more fun than opting for the 'more dangerous route' Elma tells you not to take. There was absolutely nothing down there worth evading.

There were some high level crabs, but they were chill. And the floating whales, that killed me

only noticed some level 7 crabs that didn't take any interest in me. No whalespotting for me.
Its time to play some Xenoblade....I don't give a fuck what anyone says.
My copy arrived I loaded it up and went to system settings only to see this tiny ass text. So I'm waiting for the update to download to fix it.
I completed Chapter 5, I have some restrictions before I start Chapter 6 I need to explore 20% of Noctilum so far I'm 14.6% last I checked.
So I'm currently doing Affinity Missions until I explore 20% of Noctilum.
My character and Lin are almost level 22; Elma is already level 22.
This is how my character looks.
I used Fashion clothing option so the clothes I wear don't affect my stats. They have two categories for clothing: Primary and Fashion.
Primary affects your stats and Fashion only affects appearance.

You can't go nude but under the fashion option just put on a bikini top if you're a woman and you can just run around in your underwear while still getting the stats from your primary armor.

Striped cable knit jumper. Not bad.
I started the game, realized I would need an hour with the character creator and bailed till I have more time.

IDK what update you're referring to. I looked on the shop and the only downloads are the data packs. Is it an auto update? Because my text is still small.
