I've been appointed as director of the clinic that I work at. Two days ago. For those not in the know, I work at a state-operated clinic that specializes in providing healthcare and medications to HIV-infected patients.
I'm kind of nervous about the notorious increase in responsibilities (because I keep treating patients as an attending physician as well as performing administrative duties from now on), but at the same time eager to make a difference and improve the quality of care that our patients get.
I've always believed that change comes for a good reason.
