I'm trying to remember what releases between now and the big day.

Here are games I am tentatively down to buy, pending good reviews of course.

  • Halo Reach
  • Goldeneye
  • COD Black Ops
  • Epic Mickey
  • DKC Returns

Depends which games enter the hobo realm.  I'm hoping Red Dead Revolver will do so before Christmas and hopefully God of War III as well.  I will also have to get the 3rd Prof Layton game

I want these, CV more than Vanquish. I will wait for price drops. Vanquish looks quite intimidating to me.

Since they are targetting the Japanese audience with the game as well as the west they have included a simplified mode (since th Japanese have never taken to shooters).  So say the dvelopers in an interviw in last month's EDGE magazine.  So maybe it can work for you.

In any case, unless I am forgetting something, the only game I havd on pre-order for the rest of the year is Vanquish.  It looks great, and with those devs on the job (as well as the writer, who wrote RE4 and God Hand) I'm willing to pay for it at full-retail.

Maybe GT5, dpends on the word of mouth.

I've got Epic Mickey on reserve, but other than that there's nothing that I really consider a must-own right now. Gaming will sadly continue to take a back seat for the next month or two. Too much other stuff going on.

GT5 maybe due to peer pressure. Sad

And a special game you'll know about soon enough. Nyaa

Much like Bugs, it will all depend on how fast games reach comfortable hobo prices.

Probably Enslaved before Xmas.  I love the legend of Monkey, so I'll want to play that.  I may just play the PS1 game Saiyuki: Journey West, since that is based on the same legend.

I don't know. After Shantae I may think about picking up FF4 Heroes of Light soon. But that's about it for now.

You given up on Wii already? As a late adopter there is a ton of cheap stuff to pick up.

I don't know. I'm at that phase where I'm just pooped out, not just with games, but with life in general. Occasionaly, I do still enjoy handhelds. There's something about playing my DS or PSP before I go to sleep. It's comforting. Which is why I still find time and enjoyment from them.

I know I was interested in Goldeneye Wii-make, but don't know anymore.

Definitely want Golden Sun though.
