mine's about 100 minutes and 60MB.  the ending was well weird ... like fear or something.  i'm uploading onto rapidshare now and i will give yoda a link in about half an hour.  sorry we couldn't get punk in, that would've been good

How big was your file size before compressing it?

the audacity data file was about 400MB-500MB but i extracted the .ogg file from it and deleted everything else

Okay, I going to record with messer for 100 minutes, let's see how big it really get when uncompressed.

Did a Messer test.

70 minutes uncompressed made a 700+ MB file, so 100 minutes would be 1+ GB.

I have 4+ GB room on my harddisk. So next time I am going to use Messer and find a way afterwards to compress the file.

I'm going to be using the usual recording this time through.  As I had mentioned before, it's all or none, and not having one from Iga, the exercise is useless.

Also, Dvader, are you using a headset?  You've managed to record the entire thing, not just yourself, which would be problematic if trying to get individual recordings.

Bugs had a tiny bit of feedback from the recording, but is minimal enough that it's irrelevant.

Anyone intending to be on the next podcast, please in advance do some testing to make sure everything's in order.  No more not having even opened the program until the moment we're starting.

And Iga, what are your computer specs?  I'll look into the best option.

Okay Yoda, I know what went wrong. I need to download additional files to handle MP3 compression with Messer. The files are lame_enc.dll and bladeenc.dll, I will do it tomorrow.

P.S. Yoda are the recordings of good quality? Can you hear us clearly?

Great job hosting Iga. Great podcast but I think it did go on for a bit too long. Yoda feel free to cut down some of my now playing stuff.

 Downloads for spoilers...

Okay dowloaded lame_end.dll, it seems to work really well.

You can download lame_enc.dll (3.98.2) here!

Download this file and put them in your Messer directory!

This sounds very demanding and complicated. Why are the files so big?

Can you get the microphone to work in conjunction with headphones?  I'm concerned about the overlap of what your recording picks up on top of everyone else's in the future.
