March is a Mega Month for Nintendo Game Downloads

____________________

The number 10 can mean a lot of things: perfection, loud volume or, in the case of this week's downloadable game lineup, the return of a true gaming icon. Fans will thrill to see the legendary blue bomber landing on their Wii™ console with the arrival of Mega Man™ 10 for the WiiWare™ service. Elsewhere, players can test their skill at tossing darts, bashing moles, conquering the tennis court or tackling exotic golf courses. Whether you're stocking up on living room-ready titles for your Wii console or grabbing on-the-go games via the Nintendo DSiWare™ service, March is off to a truly magnificent start.

That's actually a pretty strong line up.  Well maybe not entirely, but Mega-Man 10 and Fatal Fury  Special are strong additions to the world of WiiWare and the VC.

And is just me or just it seem like a dart game for the Wii is a really really bad idea?  If they're using motion control for this it just seems like they're asking for controllers to fly across people's room. It's got to be some Nintendo conspiracy to sell more Wiimotes.

most reviews i read were like those for contra rebirth.  you know exactly what you're getting.  it's good if you like it but don't expect anything new.  not enough levels for it to feel like a full game in this day and age

___

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu

Mega Man 10 and Fatal Fury Special are great games to get this week but I'll get MM10 when it comes out on XBLA and I already got a slightly improved version of FFS with online play and leaderboards on XBLA a very looooooooong time ago for the exact same price as this straight port so nothing really here for me to get this week.

But in length terms is it the same as Contra rebirth? That was too short for me.

It's a little bit longer and also has a couple of alternate paths for replay value. It's also only a $10 game you cheap SOB. Nyaa

I still haven't finished Mega Man 9 myself yet. I'm stuck at those moving head things in Wily's Castle that you got to shoot to keep pushing them back. *sigh* It looks like age is finally taking a toll on my gaming skills. Time to fire up some Wii-bowling I suppose. LOL

I sure hope that's the only reason.
