Brutal Legend

Heavy Rain

We could all get the Unead Nightmare pack for RDR for about $20 at retail stores.

OK looks like seven of us voted so far, three games each except for DVader who voted just two.  Counting the votes so far we have:

Brutal Legend: 4 votes

Majin: 3 votes

Call of Juarez: 3 votes

Fable 2: 2 votes

Outland, Vanquish, Heavy Rain, Sin & Punishment 2, Condemned and Broken Sword 2, Red Dead Redemption: 1 vote each

Shall we leave the voting open until the end of tomorrow?  All interested please cast your votes until then.  Steel and Iga please also do so even if it's just to vote for the one game you have mentioned already as I took those posts more as nominations

I don't understand. People actually want to play these games? Is it just because of the hobo pricing?

Most of those games were reviewed fairly well. They weren't AAA by any means but most of their reviews were solidly in the 7.5 to 8.5 range. That's hardly a waste of time to check out a game that scores in that range.

Cause they are just sitting on our shelves.

I just think that if I were to hobo price grab a game, it probably wouldn't be any of those.

Steam sales have changed the way I buy games. Now I can't force myself to shell out $20 for a 2 or 3 year old console title on "sale" when I get complete, recent titles on PC for 5 or 7 bucks.

Brutal Legend was quite enjoyable. I'll pass though as it wasn't that long ago that I finished it and I don't really want to play it again right now. Also I've got too many other games to play right now and I'm not planning any hobo purchases, at least in the immediate future.

Well, Majin for me. And I got it because it was cheap, and fucking hell, do I regret it.

I nominate Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective!

...

...

Well, that's what I am playing at least!

First DarkSiders, now Majin.

Do you people just watch what I play and coordinate playing it 6 months after I do on purpose?

Argh!

OK it looks like Brutal Legend got most of the votes with Majin and Call of Juarez joint second.

Who all would like to join in the Brutal Legend event?  (I'm assuming at least the four of us who voted for it are up for it).  When shall we start?  Vader do you want to do this once you are back from your trip, before you get started on New Vegas( as that's a really long game from what I gather)?

Robio ... any chance of changing your mind and giving this a try?  You can swicth
