By studio what Wii U games could they be doing? Incuding partners.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nintendo_development_teams

Kyoto teams:

Development Comprehensive Development Group Not necessarily responsible for a specific franchise or genre.
Group No. 1 Mario Kart and Nintendogs series.
Group No. 2 Animal Crossing and Wii series.
Group No. 3 The Legend of Zelda series.
Group No. 4 New Super Mario Bros., Pikmin and Big Brain Academy series.
Group No. 5 Wii Fit and Steel Diver series.
  • Group 1 wont show anything because they are developing MK8
  • Group 2 - is the Animal Crossing team, so Wii U Animal Crossing?
  • Group 3  - Zelda
  • Group 4: The Pikmin team, it came out a year ago roughly so they could be doing another NSMB
  • Group 5 - Unknown... QOL? Quality of Life platform from the Wii Fit guys?

Tokyo Software Development Group No. 1 Super Mario Galaxy series and overseeing The Legend of Zelda remakes.
Group No. 2

Flipnote Studio and Super Mario 3D series.

So odds are EAD Tokyo are making a new 3D mario platformer, but there are two divisions now...

Software Planning & Development Group No. 1 WarioWare, Rhythm Heaven, Friend Collection and Metroid series.
Group No. 2 Fire Emblem, Endless Ocean, Style Savvy series
Group No. 3 Metroid Prime, Donkey Kong Country, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Paper Mario, Super Mario Strikers, Battalion Wars, Excite and Fluidity series.
Group No. 4 Donkey Kong, Mario Party and Wii Party series.

SPD

  • Group 1 - Well Game and Wario is already out so a new Metroid or Rhythm Heaven Wii U?
  • Group 2 - Probably collaborating on the new Fire Emblem x SMT, maybe working with Arika on Endless Ocean 3
  • Group 3 - A pretty diverse selection of games with a lot of collabs, could be anything but they're probably with Retro
  • Group 4 - Some party game BS.

Software Development Group Brain Age, Jam with the Band series, and additional Touch! Generations titles.

SDD

Some portable game I imagine

Nintendo Software Technology (NST) Redmond, Washington, USA Mario vs. Donkey Kong series, Wii Street U and other video games and applications.[12]

NST - New Wave Race obviously... or Project HAMMER. Nyaa

1-UP Studio Tokyo, Japan Magical Vacation series, Mother 3 and A Kappa's Trail. Currently, a development co-operation studio.[citation needed]
Creatures Inc. Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan Pokémon Ranger, PokéPark and EarthBound (Mother) series (with HAL Laboratory and Brownie Brown).
Intelligent Systems Kyoto, Japan Paper Mario, Fire Emblem, Advance Wars,[16]WarioWare and Pushmo series.
Monolith Soft Tokyo, Japan Xeno and Baten Kaitos series and Disaster: Day of Crisis.[17]
Kyoto, Japan Development co-operation studio.[citation needed]
Nd Cube Tokyo, Japan Wii Party and Mario Party series.
Retro Studios Austin, Texas, USA Metroid Prime and Donkey Kong Country series.
  • Monolith Soft X, maybe a Disastuh remake, that would be cool.
  • Retro is doing something new -Metroid probably- but it might be too early after DKCTP.
  • Intelligent Systems are awesome and could be doing a Paper Mario.
  • Next Level games - A Luigis Mansion Wii U?

Then there's this lot:

Actually they are probably doing Miyamotos new IP.

Obviously Tecmo is doing Hyrule Warriors and a new Fatal Frame Wii U

We also don't know what team is making the NFP game. But we do know that Nintendo will announce an NFC (NFP) game at E3.

SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:

  • SMB Mix-Up! (1AB2-0000-0047-5A7D)
  • Storm the Castle (77BD-0000-00E0-A9C0)

There's a rumor that Rhythm Heaven is represented in Smash Bros. I've seen a ludicrious post that says the singing kid things are combatants, but I'm writing that off as fucking insane. That being said, I still believe that they'll show up in the game. After all, there was a 3DS 3-D puzzle for Rhythm Heaven so I think it's something they want to push. Seems like it would be a good $15 downloadable title for the Wii U, as opposed to a full release. Unfortunately with my difficulties with the game being well documented, I won't be playing it.

Is NFP going to an actual separate game? Or an addition to games already in development? I didn't read the whole NFP thing.

It sold more than 15 copies. More than that I can't say.

NFP is going to be in other games in development but they said the first NFP game will be announced at E3 and they will demonstrate how Nintendo is going to handle NFC.

I'd happily take a Wave Race from any of those teams.  Safe for Arzest, they ruin anything they touch.

Wasn't Pokemon Rumble NFC enabled?

What happened to NST? They make Wave Race Blue Storm and it's pretty awesome aside from being a touch too short. Then they're relegated to Mario vs DK portable games.

Pokemon Rumble was NFC but I'm not even sure if they released the figures outside of Japan.

I think Nintendo will use the eShop and announce a lot of short but inventive Wii U Digital game concepts to show off the pad. I mean how many new games can they realistically show?

I hope Mistwalker do a decent action RPG.

Short but inventive e-shop games sounds like a good thing.  Hopefully competitively priced as well

Decent is not good enough. It must be AAA.

To the industry I think it was EA or Take Two or something that defined it as something over an 80 on metacritic that cost a lot to make.
