Bro, I think Final Fantasy V is dope, I love that job system, so the fact that Bravely Default has it is right to my liking. They just do this super asshole thing with that game that turned me off on it lol

What jobs you rolling with people?

My 3DS collection is super high quality but compared to DS it feels like 3rd parties have once again let the side down on a Nintendo platform. DS had tons of quirky interesting stuff. I think the lack of quality 3rd party games is somewhat down to mobile so interest and enthusiasm in handhelds is waning anyway.

I've got a knight, 1 sword mage (what'sitcalled) and a black mage.  Tiz is still just a Freelancer because he looks stupid in all the other garb.  The last job I unlocked was Hunter, which seems like a cool job, but no way in hell that I'm dressing my party up as furries.

I have 3 N64 games, but one is legit (Lylat Wars), one is splitscreen Turok (the worst Turok, but still cool mechanics for the time---and 4 player death match!) and the other is a crappy but bizarre helicopter on-rails shooter, so it's not like I really need anything else. I could also borrow/play N64 games from/with my friends and family...and every console at the children's hospital was Nintendo, from the NES to the N64, so it's not like I actually missed out on too much N64 stuff in the end. Plus I bought it for like $80 (or $180?) new, so it was a fantastic deal at the time. Incidentally, I almost got a GameCube for $180 pretty soon after its release but the arseholes in Dick Smith claimed they mislabelled it and wouldn't sell it for that price. Sad

^Peronally I got a lot of value out of the N64 and GC. No complaints AT ALL.

Would you really want to use your fingers on a screen that size?

On the WiiU game pad? Absolutely. It's certainly big enough.  If you look at the Samsung Galaxy Book line they are smaller than the Wii U gamepad but still managable.

So did I, just not my own N64. My GameCube is well stocked with games, though. Great console.

Oh, I also got like 2 games for my GBA: SP (another Nintendo console for $180, Wii U was $180, too, I think)...and it didn't affect my future purchases even though it gave me eyestrain and was too painful to hold, as I later bought a DS and only have 3 games for it.

But I might have bought more if the top screen still worked. It's still a great budget digital synthesiser, though.

I used my Korg DS-10 cart last night, hooked up to the full stereo.

Held my interest for over an hour, and I don't even smoke weed.

That just made me think: I haven't tried it since there was a subwoofer here...will have to get it out sometime.

How many Korg synths are there altogether for DS, DSi and 3DS?  I have the very first one DS10 I think but there have been some much more substantial ones since.  May be worth hooking up to my set-up here though I have a few from the Volca series as well

Doesn't agree with me.  Makes me slow, forgetful and stupid.

It's not my go-to either, but on rare occasions it fits the need. This weekend being one.

I've never been big on handhelds, but when the New Super Mario Bros came out for the Nintendo DS, I figured I should jump on it. I also got Elite Beat Agents and... that was it. I didn't even use it to actually play NSMB after my first couple of playthroughs; I just played the Five Card Draw minigame. Albeit, I did play that one minigame a lot-- just about every time I was in the bathroom, or needing to play something mellow while trying to fall asleep. Eventually I wore the DS out to the point where the top screen's backlight broke, and other graphical glitches were happening somehow, so I blew it apart with a BB gun. I don't plan on buying any more handhelds, except I still want to play Resident Evil DS.

There's also DS-10 Plus which doubles the numbers of synths/drums you can have playing at once if you're using the DSi. That's the one I have...but no DSi. Sad
