Gahhhhhh... I need a copy of Last of Us. I'm pretty sure I'm the only PS3 owner on earth who hasn't played it by now.

Don't know if they ship to 'Murica and how much it is if they do, or if you want a box...but just in case:

Well that is a fine price point. I will likely just start up a Gamefly account again, and see if I can handle the pressure of playing games I don't own, and get it that way.... assuming I don't crack like every other time I try it.

That would make two of us. The Last of Us who haven't played it.
Ba-dum-tish.
I'll be here all week.

Shuffle along a bit. I should be getting it very soon
Nice list, Blacklist was a suprise contender. Great stealth game. I started up Deus Ex again and was suddenly bereft of all the agile moves that let you flow through a Blacklist level in the same way.
Ok since everybody else is doing it, I will too. I'm not even sure if some of the games I played in 2013 even fucking came out in 2013 or 2012, and there's also some awesome games that I would list if I actually played them. So this will be a short 5 strong list.
#5: Pikmin 3
While I think it was bullshit that it took Nintendo 9 fucking years to make this game, Pikmin 3 was worth the wait. Or as worth a 9 year wait as I guess you can ask for. Same solid gameplay as you remember, with the same cuddly yet strangely morbid vibe & a nice new character management system, this is easily one of the best games you can get on the Wii U, and will remain so for a long time. The controls are particularly great, as you can use any combo of controllers you like. Prefer the Gamepad? Go ahread. Wanna pretend you're playing the Wii 5 years ago with HD graphics? Plug in a Wiimote. Oh nothing like watching 100 pikmin kill and slaughter their way to the top.
#4: Splinter Cell Blacklist
Blacklist is a badass game. Probably the best Splinter Cell other than the phenominal Chaos Theory from 2005. The new HQ Hub system makes the game flow better and feel more connected, the missions are great and there's tons of variety and different ways to play. Plays great with a Wii U Gamepad.
#3: Grand Theft Auto 5
I didn't play it last year, and I'm actually not even done with it. But at this point, I've basically seen what the game has to offer, and its another awesome entry in the GTA franchise. Brings the humor and hilarity that GTA 4 kind of missed back in spades, along with a great character zapping system and a huge world to explore. This game will keep you going for a long time. Its an improvement over GTA 4 in every way. Just wish the PS4 controller worked with this game.
#2: Tomb Raider
If it wasn't for the game down below, this would have easily been my game of the year. They took one of my favorite franchises, completely changed it a la RE4 style reboot, and made something very badass. This game has little in common with even the most recent TR games, nevermind the classics. But its such a great game you won't mind. One of the best, most atmospheric action/adventures of the generation. And Lara caresses your balls in her hand from beginning to climax.
#1: The Last Of Us
This game was just polished to near perfection. Similar to Tomb Raider in that it stays fresh from start to finish and you just wanna keep playing. It takes the best of Uncharted, mixes it with some Walking Dead influence and a bit of a Half Life 2 style pacing to create an adventure of pure gaming joy. One of those games that makes you think "this is why I love games".
