well I did say 'quality' in relation to GGD. My point still stands.

She always found a reason to shit on everything I wrote. It was not quite typical trolling, but she always found a way to sound so condescending and every response she wrote.
Was that the GamingQueen? I remember her and one other girl whom I can't remember the name of.
She used to annoy the hell out of me. She named herself perfectly though, because she was a fucking DRAMA queen. Always making a huge deal out of nothing just to argue for the hell of it.
I recently went back to Gamespot and a lot of people I knew back then are still there.
I miss Rag. I contacted him on Gaf and had a brief conversation with him.
Godmode used to like me until I busted his balls one day...then he got his panties in a bunch and never spoke to me again.

Some unions were good enough that however great GGD may have been before they existed, the sacrifice was worth it. (I don't think I posted on GS before the existence of unions).
Also blogs, the other good part. Pretty sure I only knew anyone here through blogs, especially GG's and Dvader's.
The reason I decided to leave Gamespot was the redesign in 2013/2014. I did go back to Gamespot last month but it is basically dead, most of the people that posted were gone or banned since the redesign they also got soft on some of the rules but other things made it easier to get banned.
But there are still about 20 people I recognized still posting on Gamespot.

I still lurk. But I am a gamer in a very prolonged and possibly permanent hiatus so don't have much to add to any of the discussions. Between full-time work and part-time djing there is simply no time for gaming. I do like it when I see you guys really excited about particular games though and I start to get tempted but I just know it would be pointless. I would only be adding more games which would stay shrinkwrapped and gather dust on my already full shelves. No point.
But Vader is right! Fuck Gertsmann the fat fuck forever for 8.8ing the greatest game of all time. Not forgiven in ten years ... not ever. People will piss on his grave for that.

I remember your old Mario gangster hat avatar from GGD.

Portable Splatoon?
Nah ... Not tempted. Splat 1 still shrink-wrapped and probably always will be.
Gerstmann also gave Tomb Raider 2 a 5.7
