I finished the 5 extra levels on the free DLC portion of Mighty Switch Force. And they are pretty amazing and probably even better than most of the 16 levels in the original portion of the game. I hate to quantify things like this but this is well over 30% (of the original) added as a free download. I know random acts of selflessness and generocity are the norm for PC users but with all the nickle-and-dime that goes into DLC for console users ... this is really a lovely breath of fresh air. Thank you WayForward.

Finished RAGE. Worst game I've finished in some years. It would be worth creating a college course around at one of those tech schools that teaches game design. Onto Bulletstorm (after a 300MB update and activating another online pass).
I bought R@ge a few months back as it was fairly cheap and I had some hope for a decent shooter in a kind of post-apocalyptic Madmax desertscape with awesome looking big skies. Sad to hear it's really that bad.

I got stuck in the middle somewhere thanks to a glitch....so i gave up.
I finally got around to finishing Uncharted 3! Yay!
It's also the first game I beat this year! Yay again!
Updated with Sine Mora. I loved it. Well worth the 1200 points. Here's what I had to say.
What a wonderful experience. The game is a true joy to behold, with greatly detailed, stunningly beautiful backgrounds as well as 3D structures and ships, adhering to a decidedly steam/diesel - punk aesthetic. The gameplay is frantic as with any space shooter worth its salt. It's a great deal more forgiving than some others because instead of being one touch death, or even a life bar - what you have instead is a timer which you must keep from reaching zero by killing enemy ships. Though it's by no means easy. Even to finish the story mode (with nothing over an E grade in any single section or mission) was pretty hard work at times. The main reason I got an X360 (when I already had a PS3 and Wii) was Radiant Silvergun and the promise of a nice selection of Cave and other shmups. With games like this it is more than delivering on that. I see myself playing this game many times over and I recommend it highly to all true gamers
PS Leo loved your write-up on Radiant Historia

Beat L.A. Noire. Very satisfying ending. I'd have to look at my lists, but I'm pretty sure that would have been my GOTY of 2011. Will have to wait until I play Skyrim and Arkham City I guess.

Did it stay at least a little stupid?

Glad you enjoyed it. It was my #2 for last year, and had it not been for the end game feeling very out of place I probably would have given it #1. I really hope it gets some kind of sequel even though Bondi is gone. All the framework is there afterall, and even given its' ending it is still set up for a sequel.

How is it I never added you on XBL? Add me! I am Phantom Leo on there. It would be nice to compare scores, once I actually sit down to play!
...and Thank You!
I think my xbox handle is just: bugsonglass same as my psn one. I will try adding you. I remember adding Travo a couple of years ago when I got the xbox but I'm not sure it worked. Do I need to be a Live member?
Swords and Soldiers: Super Saucy Sausage Fest.
Pretty good add-on. Focuses on buffs and magics rather than base/army building.

Finished God of War 3. Was not feeling this one for hte first 4 hours fo play, really lacked a soul. But after that it was good ol' GoW. Onto Singularity.
I just finished my reviews, sounds like you and I are have the same issues. I totally felt the same, I enjoyed the game a lot but I was rarely wowed. I saw a game that had untapped potential.
