I've since found the problem. Iga's recording doesn't exactly record everything. It's skipping ahead a bit in places. So Iga's off the podcast until he gets a better computer

yeah i was going to suggest the problem was more like this:

with one of the recordings being a little shrunk or the other a little dilated, as opposed to it being shifted, but what you said about iga's recording makes perfect sense.
