Its gone. Sad

I never got to see my new home. Sad

Whats going to happen to my town a month from now, is everyone going to hate me for not being on in over a month?

it will be full of weeds and your townsfolk (the ones who won't have migrated to fortress or shanti town) will give you a bollocking for ingoring them... but they'll get over it.  and we'll all come visit and help you clear out the weeds.  i'll miss you Sad

Bugs, which times are you on?

my timezone is GMT+2.  can normally be on much longer over the weekend (or wednesday afternoons) as my nieces and nephew aren't here as much as weekdays.  weekdays it's just for a little bit before i go to sleep around 11pm till midnight or half past.

what about you, do you have regular times or a lot of shift work?

As long as I don't start nightshifts again, I usually play from 10pm  to 12 or 1 am on weeknights, and the better part of the afternoon-nights on weekends. I'm GMT+6 BTW.

OMG so awesome.

I'll get the game back on May 8th so its not a horrible situation. If I could find this game cheap I would definetly get my own copy.

I can't remember if I already commented on The Great Wave, but if not it's kinda awesome that it's in there. It's not a painting, though! Nyaa It's a woodcut, or woodblock print depending on what you want to call it.

Ah wood cutting. It was based on a real tidal wave right?

I think it was just about the sea off somewhere in Mount Fuji. So it'd be based on weather like that, but I dunno if it was based on a particular wave or not. However when I was "reading" a big book of his wood cuts from the library, I just looked at the pictures and skipped most of the text. Grinning

I'm pretty sure it was based on a real event. The boats were swept out to see.

Japan and tsunamis have a lot of past together, but it seems that the Great Wave wasn't inspired in any particular event, after all.

Ok, is this game the dog's bollocks or what?

So, I sneak in for like 30 minutes this afternoon, to check out turnip prices (shitty 67 bells, BTW) and start digging out aborted trees, so tonight I hadn't that much work, and I find a little girl crying. What the fuck?

Turns out she lives on GG's fucking town and got lost on mine, dunno when. She asks me then to take her home! And GG is not online!

What the fuck am I supposed to do? She follows me everywhere I go.

Tortimer gave me a gift and sassed me and I LOL-ed at the gift. Good one.

I also got a mummy mask from Sables, need the bandages T. And look, a lucky black cat! So expensive...

The day got better. I caught fish for the museum, a Yellow butterflyfish, a Koi and a cherry salmon. I already had a Koi so I sold it for 7k and I got Lucky's key out of the river and he gave me a Robo bed. Happy Oh and that little bastard Anchovy is finally moving out!

Been doing some reading, Guilliver the UFO guy will give you:

Arc de Triomphe
Chocolates
Compass
Manneken Pis
Matryoshka
Merlion
Mermaid statue
Metroid
Moai statue
Mouth of Truth
Pagoda
Plate armor
Tower of Pisa
Tribal mask

In exchange for ship parts.

Steel, we have to reunite the cats for:

Music Box
Portrait
Papa Bear
Papa Panda
Lovely Phone
Apple TV
Lilypad table

A random item from those of the above will be received by each of the two
players in their next day mail.
If you do not reunite the two, both cats will remain in the respective towns
for a whole week, stopping any special visitor that might have come that
week.
Same thing happens if one or both player change the time settings in their
games. The two will remain separated for ever (sob).

BUT THEY ONLY HANG AROUND FOR A WEEK! LETS MEET ASAP!

That's what I told you. It's 11:30 am now. I get back home at around 3, and I can stay online for about 30 minutes.
