OMG Nintendo sent me a Pikmin hat!

I paid off my my loan, tomorrow I get a new house!! Oh and Nook's is going to grow as well! But i probably wont have the game, NOOOOO!

I laid down a basic road system in my town, it gets me to the major areas.

You will need to plant some cedars for Autumn this year for the acorn festival, they only grow on cedar trees. Oh yeah, trees need spacing, around one square all round and wont grow on beaches. Space them properly.

You have to see the upgrades before you give it up.

I'm collecting lab furniture now (thanks steel for the bench) so I can have a mad scientist room.

Sweet. I'll have to remember to have them evenly distributed. My Nook's closed today. I think I'm getting the next upgrade, I currently have a Nookway. I hope Nook stops being naked around his store.

I am starting to pay the neighbors a bit more attention now. They give away some cool items from time to time if you help them. Most of them are shit, but it's worth the effort every once in a while.

You know, for a game with such an accesible interface and carefree approach, the actual design of it is deceptively deep. I just found out that some of my townsfolk actually prefer to walk on paths than over the grass. The game keeps throwing at you little things like that one when you least expect it.

Yeah I noticed that. Because all my paths are single file, they block paths. And I'm thinking, hey didn't you guys all used to walk on grass? Now you're always on my paths. Very clever. And as you've seen from all my tips, there are tons of elements you dont know about that you gradually learn. I just learned that the online auction in the city, you can put up items from all the characters in your town. So I have three characters and can put up three items.

Try and use the auction guys, it's cool, but only if you use it. Its only on alternative saturdays though.

No. You are going to wake up with a crazy hair like mine. But other than that, it'll be alright. That's the beauty of it. You'll pick it up again a month from now and start playing like time didn't pass at all.

it will be full of weeds and your townsfolk (the ones who won't have migrated to fortress or shanti town) will give you a bollocking for ingoring them... but they'll get over it.  and we'll all come visit and help you clear out the weeds.  i'll miss you
