Tropico 4 for $10 on Steam for my wife's laptop.
Mass Effect 3 for US 360 from Playasia for $60.
Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time for PSP from Playasia for $35.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileI got The Guild 2: Renaissance for $2.50 on Steam. It's some weird mix of strategy and social simulator.

Yeah it's not bad. It's part of the next batch of Player's Choice games which usually run at $20 but stores here are selling the leftover "original" boxart games for $30 so that was worth it to me. They have the "original" Kirby's Epic Yarn for $20 which I want to get as well.
Picked up a copy of El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron for $38.
Also got a Motion Plus dongle for the Wii for $18. I hope Red Steel 2 is worth it.
In related news I got a 1 TB DVR for $170. Bad mistake. I was expecting Tivo and this generic one is... pretty generic. Still have not figured it out yet.
In a moment that will provide ammo for years in those in the "anti-digital distribution" camp, last night I semi-drunkenly bought Burger Time World Tour and Frogger: Hyper Arcade Edition.

A bit surprised you managed to pay so much for El Shadai. I've been seeing it for around £10 for many months now on UK online shops. If you want to "game club" it ... I'm game
I hope to start it right after Mass Effect 3.
Driver: San Francisco $1.
It took about 20 minutes (and several accounts) to actually buy the fucking thing due to Ubisoft's horrible website, and now I have no idea how to download it.
Haven't even received an e-mail confirming the purchase from them, or the company they're employing to handle the selling/buying. I've got the Paypal payment e-mail, though.

Good luck with that! Wise to have used paypal. Hopefully your CC details are not on some fraudster's harddisk
I picked up The Last Story....LAST copy Gamestop had. Comes in a spiffy case with a 40 page artbook. Cool shit.
^That is cool.
I forgot to mention that there were games I did not buy this weekend. Rayman: Origins for $22 (Cheap!) and Child of Eden for $14 (Cheap!).
That was the first time I can remember when I did not buy a noted game that was cheap. I just had a conversation with myself in the store about how I can never go beyond the first few levels of a 2D side scroller and that's it is pointless to buy a game I'll never finish even if it is 1) lauded and 2) cheap.

OK. And what about Child of Eden? How can you justify not getting that to yourself, huh? How?
I picked up Ridge Racer 7 PS3 today. Yeah, it looks about 1000 times better than R4.
