Everytime I read a thread, a review, preview, or anything about this game, I want it more!
I don't think I'll have enough this Sunday, but I do want it though.

Now Playing: Golden Sun Dark Dawn, God of War Ghost of Sparta, and DKC Returns
I'm fortunate, I had enough trade in credit to get it for free. I also ordered Goldeneye, so my Thanksgiving week is set.
You'll love GoldenEye...well, hope you enjoy it. It's the best FPS on the Wii without a doubt!
But yeah, DKC Returns would be a great game to have this Thanksgiving week. Nothing better than playing that after pigging out on turkey all day!

I will pick this game up at some time, likely before the year is over, but not at launch. I pretty much had to make a decision between getting Sonic or DKC and since Sonic's pre-order bonus was a hat while DK's was a bannana cover for the Wiimote, Sonic won hands down. Screw game quality and reputation, I need incentives dammit!!!
I'm about as excited for this as I can be about this game. This will be one of the few choice games I will buy at launch because I can't wait for them to get cheaper.
I wasn't even tempted by Sonic but yeah then again that awesome hat was out of the question
Sonic Colours is a great game.
I will get DKC for Christmas from someone. I am scared of the difficulty but happy about the super guide.

Don't be scared....embrace the dark si.....um, difficulty.
Do you guys think we will ever see DK 64 on the VC? I would love to play that again.
^^ I think it will come to the VC with DKC Returns' release.
Nintendo would be stupid not to release it.

I would love to see that. I need to get a new N64.
I might be looking to sell mine on ebay. I have to wait till 1:30 to play this, guys. So my impressions will be much later in the day.
I can't wait for DKCR *teeth grinding with impatient anticipation*
i also wish DK64 would come to the VC. I never got to play that and would love to do so. I had the box of the cartridge with the RAM expansion but it got stolen along with my entire N64 collection
^The thieves did you a favor Bugsy.
Not going to buy this game until I clear my backlog. Which consists of Muramasa and Jungle Beat. So if some of you Yahoo's spoil something, I will crush you.
And GG grow some balls for god's sake and finish the game without using super guide.

...AND IT'S VERY, VERY, VERY GOOD ! ! !
phantom_leo said:^ KICKS SOOO MUCH ASS ABOVE AND BEYOND NSMB Wii IT ISN'T EVEN REMOTELY FUNNY ! ! !
phantom_leo said:From the second it boots: The Familar Music. The familiar gameplay. The Motion Controls that let you pound your Hands to Make DK Pound the Ground. The Humor of the Opening Cinematics. The 3D nature of the Stages while still being tried and true 2D. The way those stages React to DK. The Secrets. The Team Work between Donkey and Diddy...
...one of the BEST Wii games this year!
...Sorry, Kirby, you've been topped!
Just the weightiness of DK. The way he SLAMS onto the scene whenever a Stage starts. The secrets within secrets. The Coins. The Puzzle Pieces. The K O N G letters. The way DK is capable on his own --BUT-- that much BETTER teaming with Diddy. The way the backgrounds and foregrounds are truly bursting with life. This is a masterfully designed game and I cant imagine --ANY-- better way to Return a Classic series to it former glory! Kudos to Retro.
...and Welcome Back Raven Cranky Kong!
so can we just all agree that Retro are gaming gods already and be done with?
I've been waiting on this game for a while. I bought the original when I was a freshman in college, about the same time I discovered David Bowie's music. I spent many a nights in my room playing Donkey Kong Country with the volume down and Bowie playing in the background till about 2am. Now we finally get an update by Retro, who are responsible for the near perfect Metroid Prime series. What more could you ask for? Stunning visuals? Awesome boss battles? Hidden secrets? Hardcore difficulty? It's in the game.
Who else is picking this up on Sunday? Please post your impressions of what looks to be another surefire hit, one to cap off the Wii's amazing year..
