Fair enough. Just wanted to make sure you weren't running into this one blind. I'm a pretty big fan of the series myself. It's a large part of the reason I wanted to host that horror video game panel. God knows I'm going to be depressed as hell if it sucks and is unplayable.
The only thing we can hope for is: Maybe, maybe... they'll continue working on it after the release and deliver some patches to fix any remaining issues. Namco has done that before for games like Soul Calibur and Tekken 6; after the ridiculous development time and the lukewarm press response to it, though, it seems pretty unlikely.
How sad is it I am anticipating a patch for a game that isn't even out yet...?
Sign of the times...
I'm not going to get my hopes for it. The fact that they had to switch developers up on it midway to me shows that they weren't real interested in getting good and just wanted to get it out. Pity since it looks so damned good.
Are there any big releases for the 360 besides AC: Brotherhood between now and Christmas?

You've got Hot Pursuit: The Guys That Did Burnout this week, that's pretty big.
But that's it. I just went through Gamespot's tool for the rest of the year on 360, and there is nothing else of note. A Bad Company 2 Vietnam expansion pack...
That's good actually. I can go to games I've never played and are hobo cheap like Fable 2.
There's a slight chance Tron: Evolution and Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom may be good...
...but nothing to really set the world on fire.
I think Microsoft wanted to clear the field for Kinect.
Edit: Scratch that. Tron looks like crap and its made by the same team that did the new Turok.
So, any changes to your plans?
I ended up buying Epic Mickey myself and traded Black Ops for Sonic Colours.
That just leaves me with DKC Returns and Halo Reach for Christmas.
Anyone see anything worth getting out of this recently released 360 section? Fable 3 and Assasins Creed Brotherhood are out of the question because I haven't started their prequels yet.
The recently released Wii list is pretty bad too, as I already own the good ones. DS I have all but given up on unless it's an Ace Attorney or Hotel Dusk game.

I just need to get Fable III and NHL '11 now. Fable III will probably be my next purchase and NHL '11 could be a Christmas gift. I wouldn't mind getting Donkey Kong Country returns and the Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary package coming out. I did just recently get Williams Hall of Fame pinball collection that wasn't on my list.
Fable 3 has not getting the kindest reception. Those that don't like it the most seem to be the people who liked 2 a fair bit.

I'm getting Fable 3 at some point for PC, even if I can't paly it simply to say FU for not release Fable 2 on PC.

Did they change their mind again? At some point they said it would not be going to the PC.
"Peter Molyneux announced today at the E3 that Fable III, the upcoming sequel to the popular RPG series, will be an Xbox 360 exclusive, rather than appearing on the PC as was announced earlier. A brief trailer was shown at the E3, without revealing any new info about the actual game."
I think for me it will be GT5, Donkey Kong and Mickey. I also recently ordered red dead redemption so that will be another xmas game for me.
will get brotherhood soon as its price drops sometime in the new year

So you are saying FU by giving Lionhead more money?

No, this is.
I ended up getting a bunch of games I wasn't going to, but I did get Mario Collection and Enslaved, as intended.
Trust me. I know. Splatterhouse (believe it or not) has a very special place in my heart because of some personal memories attached to the original TG-16 version of it, involving myself and two of my very close buddies. We still reminisce about playing it to this day. The very fact that it has the 3 originals included is more than enough justification for me to purchase it!
